"Everyone's always t-told me that the world, that the world's beautiful. But I-well, I don't believe it. I'll never be able to see it, but I don't think it's beautiful, Connor. I don't." Evan grasped onto Connor's hand as he was led by the taller boy through the halls.
"I hear everything they say about me. How I shouldn't be here, I should be at a school that teaches people like me. But-but I can't afford those schools, Connor! Th-they don't know that! I wish they knew that!" Tears began to cascade down Evan's face, and although they didn't blur his vision (as he was blind), he felt every tear drop off of his face.
"The world is as beautiful as you, Evan," Connor lied (A/N- not about Evan's beauty, though), adding, "And those people... Why haven't you told me, Evan?" Connor stopped in the halls, grabbing Evan's other hand with his free one.
"Because I-I don't want you to beat anyone up, or yell, Connor. I don't want you to get worked up over it. Those kids... They're right, Connor. I shouldn't be here. I shouldn't be in this school." Evan's tears only poured more, and Connor leaned in close to Evan's face.
"You deserve the world, Evan. Don't let anyone tell you that you shouldn't be here." Connor said before pressing his lips to Evan's. He pulled away, enveloping the smaller boy into a hug.
"I love you, Evan." Connor cooed.
"I love you, Connor." Evan smiled.
I just came up with the idea of Evan being blind, might make a headcanon on Tumblr, hehe. Hope you liked this :3
See you beans another time!
