"H-hello po," Nakakatakot naman tong nanay ni Clad.

Lumapit si Clad. "Mom, what are you doing here?"

"Am I not allowed here? Then who is she? Your girlfriend?" My heart beats fast. I don't know why. Really.

Clad chuckled.
"Friend," then he smiled. "This is, KC. But call her Kianna. And Kianna, this is my mom Sheryl"

I lend my hand for a shake hands. "Good evening ma'am"

She accepted it and we shook hands. "Nice to meet you, Kianna" I was shocked when she smiled at me. Really? I thought we're not gonna be okay.

I find his mom cool and beautiful.

"So mom, what are you doing here? You want to eat? Do you want me to order something? Your favorite dish here"

"Honey, it's fine. I'm here because I want to see Ethel. I just want to clear things,"

Clad nodded. "Kinda, weird. Hahaha! Anyways mom, we gotta go. I still need to drop by my friend. You know, she's sleepy already. I don't want to sleep her here. Hahaha! Kidding again," I smiled hearing those words coming from him. They're very close.

She ruffled his son's hair.
"Hay, I really love you son. Take care okay? Remember, the speed"

"Yes mom. I love you too"

Her mom looked at me. "Nice to meet you, Kianna. Take care" I smiled and nodded. We went outside of the restaurant immediately after some chitchats.

"So, what do you think of my mom? She's cool right? She's rampage" then he laughed. I beatened his arms. "Why did you do that?"

I pouted. "You're now using the rampage word"

He shrugged his shoulder and open the frontseat's door. "Get in, KC"

"You sure? Can you drive? You're tired--"

He looked at me straightly. No expression pero magegets mo yung pinaparating ng tingin niya.

I smiled and nodded. "Hehe, you can drive I know. I'm just joking lang naman, CJ" I make the peace sign before entering the car.

Jusko! Nakakatakot rin naman pala kahit papano tong si Clad. Nang makapasok siya sa kotse ay tumahimik na ko. He's scaring me a little bit.

"Tch. Are you scared? Hindi naman nakakatakot yun" my forehead creased and I looked at him. He can read my mind? Really?

"What are you looking at? Am I right? Right, of course" then he laughed. I pursed my lips and looked the road. I don't think na magagalit sakin tong si Clad. Pero malay natin.

When we reached our house, pinapasok ko muna siya sa loob. Buti naman at pumayag siya.

I smiled. "Thank you"

"So, when's the comeback of your brother? And your parents?"

Ngumiwi ako. "Kuya will be back tomorrow. Then my parents? Uh, maybe on saturday. Na extend yung pag tira nila dun sa Lanao e kasi daw may dumating na naman na problema kaya ayun"

He nodded and put his hand on his chin and massaged it. "Hmm. They're busy people. Well, that's business life. You can't do anything. It's like, when you already in there's no easy way out. Earning money is the reason--the main reason why we're all here in the business world"
