I plugged my headphones in, and sat down. I watched the rest of the kids pile into the buses, looking for a certain person in general. Baby. She was a mystery. I offered her a seat by me and Justin at lunch, she accepted, but never showed up to lunch.

I watched the blonde walk out of school. What bus did she go into?

"Hey," I heard a male voice beside me as the other half of the seat sank down. I turned my head, and took my headphones out.

"Hey, Justin."

"What cha looking at?" He asks as I turned back to the window. But I didn't see Baby. I groaned, and slumped into my seat.

"I WAS looking at Baby. I wanted to see what bus she rides."

"Why?"

"Because she's... odd."

"Kinda yeah. She never really talks to anyone. And she never showed up for lunch. Maybe she's just shy?"

"Maybe..." I mummerd. He shrugged, and shoves his finger at the window.

"There she is. Walking. I think she walks home," he says. I nodded, and sighed, already losing interest. She shrugs again. "So, Sam's got a buddy to sit with?"

"That's what he told me," I replied. He nods, and sighs.

"Can I ask ya something?" He asks. I nodded, pulling my phone out of my pocket, and unplugging the headphone jack. "Sammi is obsessed with me. She just can't accept the fact it's over. What should I do?"

"Tell her that you're dating someone else. If she asks who, tell her it's not her business."

"Oh wow.. that might actually work.."

"Heh, I'm good with ideas."

"I can tell. Your good with a lot of things. Computers? I wouldn't gave thought of just restarting the computer," he laughed. I smirked, and shrugged.

"Maybe you're just better in a different subject."

"What were your grades last year?" He asks.

"A lot of B's and C's. Computer was going to be an A, but the teacher took off for days I was gone, and didn't let me make any of it up."

"Oh. That sucks. Why'd you move here? Your parents lose their job?" He asks.

"Me and Sam got adopted by this girl, Jaime. So, that's kinda why we moved," I say. He gave a soft smile. I sighed. "Can I talk to you about something?"

"Yeah, of course."

"Sam hates her. There's no reason why, he just does. I don't know what to do, because I know Jaime loves him. He won't eat, and just hates her. What do I do?"

"Aye, so you're good with school stuff, but not home stuff?"

"Thanks, Sherlock Holmes. That's not an answer."

"Well, maybe she could take him out camping for a bit? Or something where they're alone for a long period of time. Maybe just bring him to a hotel for two nights. That's all I can really think of," he says. I nodded, and saw my stop coming up.

"I'll see you tomorrow," I tell him. He nods, and I stood, following Sam off the bus.
