Once I got to school, I noticed something was off.

Sammi and Baby were watching as I made my way over to Justin. His hand slid in mine, and we walked inside. Their eyes never left me, and I found it awkward.

Math went by quickly, and I hurried into computer.

Justin wasn't there yet, so I took my seat. The computer wouldn't turn on.

Justin walked in, and instantly reached for the power button on his computer. I watched as he fumbled with it.

"Now you can't even turn it on?" I gasped. He gave me a smug look. I laughed. "Just kidding. Mine won't either. I think it crashed or something like that."

"Oh. So Miss computer nerd can't fix her own computer? That's sad," I heard someone behind me. I turned to see Sammi.

"Oh, shut up," I snapped.

"Sammi, why don't you just leave her alone?" Justin says, turning to face her. "Is it really that hard to stop obsessing over my girlfriend?" She pursed her lips, and placed her hands on her hips.

"Oh, come on Justin. I thought asking her out was a dare." My mouth fell open and I stared at him.

"Woah, what?" He snaps. "Don't listen to her," he says, looking at me. I looked back at my computer.

"Oh, come on! I know for a fact that Lacey put you up to it. You don't really like her, I know you don't."

"You're right. I don't like her," he says. He pulled me into a hug, but I made no effort to hug back. "I love her. Which is more then I ever felt for you. And I don't know where you came up with the idea that it was a dare, but it wasn't."

The bell rang, and I saw her smile.

"Sure it wasn't," she replied. She went to sit down, and the teacher walked in. Almost as soon as he did, we heard the alarms go off.

"What alarm is that?" I asked. He shrugged, and looked at me.

"Attention all staff and students. This is a lockdown. This is not a drill, teachers, get your students..." I didn't listen to the rest. Oh god...

"Everyone to the back! Behind the computers," Mr. Genth instructs. Justin took my hand, and stood up. We followed everyone else to the back.

We sat down by each other, and I started to wonder what would have caused the commotion.

He turned the lights off, and sat at the desk. I, for one, hated how silent it was.

"I wonder why they called it," Justin whispered.

"Same," I replied, leaning onto him. An arm went around my shoulders, and pulled me closer. I let my head fall onto his chest.

After a few more minutes of agonizing silence, the doorknob turned until the lock prevented it from going any farther. The teacher flinched, and stood closer to the door.

At first I thought it might have been a teacher making sure it was locked, but it kept moving.

Justin picked up on it, because I felt his grip on me tighten.

Eventually I heard banging on the door, and threw my arms around Justin's waist. I shut my eyes, fear building up inside.

It all stopped and we again were left in silence. It was better then the door being pounded on.

Or maybe I accidentally stopped time again...

I looked at the clock, and was happy to see it working. I let out a sigh of relief, and pulled my legs closer.

After about thirty minutes, we got told that it was now safe, and the people were gone.
