The elevator seemed to go painfully slow. I hated the tension. What if we were wrong, and Morrigan was really just some sweet lady trying to help me? And I was messing up everything?

The doors opened, and we stepped out. There were several closed doors, including my first class. Daisee gave me an uneasy look, and I returned it. I was not prepared for this.

We came to Morrigan's door, and I walked in, not bothering to knock.

She was at her desk, reading over a paper. I looked away.

Justin slipped me the small, folded paper. All their names, and the meanings. I sighed, and walked up to her. She looked up from her desk, a forced smile on her lips.

"Hello, Raylin. Who are your friends?" She asks. I handed her the paper, and held back a shake of fear. Her smile faded into a frown.

"Why do all the names have a dark meaning?" I asked. "It means something."

"You have no proof that it means anything," she snaps, looking up. I tried not to faint right then and there.

"Well, I know for a fact that Lilith means demon. And Amara means eternal. And-" Justin stepped up. "-you're the queen of war and death. So, let's talk about that," he states.

"We also found out that this place doesn't exist," Tyler says, stepping up. "It's not on the internet anywhere."

"So we want answers," Daisee chimes in. Sam stepped up beside her so all of us were lined at her desk. A look of worry crossed her face, and she hesitated.

She grabbed her phone, and pushed one number.

"Amara, lock down now. And hurry." She glanced at us before slamming her phone down.

"We want an explanation," Daisee snaps, her arms crossing over her chest. Morrigan glared at her.

"This facility is to help. You'll understand that soon enough-"

"Bull," Sam snaps. "Raylin's had telekinesis for as long as we were born. She never needed your help."

"You didn't even know each other when you were born," she scoffed. "It was when you were three that you even knew each other."

"How would you know?" I snapped, becoming defensive. "Nobody would have known that-"

"Because, Raylin. This is your home. This is where you were supposed to be raised. But your brother was raised alone, and you weren't there to help. I had you, and you left! It took years to find you!" She yelled. I felt like everything around me stopped. I felt lightheaded.

"E-excuse me?"

"That's right, Raylin. Welcome home." A smile plastered on her face as people swarmed in. Cans of tear gas was thrown in, and I watched her run out.

I was nervous. My brother. I'd be meeting him in less then a minute.

"Raylin, listen to me, Sam is your real brother. You've been with him through thick and thin. That's what counts," Justin was reassuring me. It was hard, but he was holding my hand. Our wrists had been bound together by a rope. It was uncomfortable.

Sam was watching me carefully. I could feel the tears streaming down my face as all eyes were on me.

The mother that abandoned me. The mother that wasn't there to raise me. The mother that was never there to help. The mother that had been tracking me until I was found.

A creaky door opened, and we were all pushed inside by Harley. I knew, after the name incident, she was a traitor to us. But I really had wished she was on our side.

"I'm sorry it has to end this way, Raylin.." was all she said as she walked away. I let my legs give out under me as I slid down the brick wall. And as I turned my head, my eyes met a pair of brown ones.

My brothers.
