"They wanted me dead..." I mumbled, dropping the paper. It landed among all the others on the floor, but I could care less.

"What?" Justin came over and stood by me.

"They want me dead!" I exclaimed, stumbling backwards. He grabbed my arm, and brought me closer.

"We need to go," Tyler says, still helping Daisee stand. "She's in pain, and we need a hospital." I nodded in agreement, and glanced around. Papers everywhere. Pictures of me and other people.

They want me dead. I was just a pawn in their little screwed up game!

"Raylin, come on," Justin says, snapping me out of my daze. I looked up at him, and seeked for reassurance. He gave me a small smile. "It's ok. I promise you'll be ok."

I hugged him. Right then, I needed it.

Hugging back, he kissed the top of my head.

"Guys," Sam says. "We need to go."

"Yeah, we know," Justin speaks. He pulled away, and grabbed my hand. "Let's get out of here, ok?" I nodded.

Our footsteps echoed in the hallway as we started walking. I hoped there were no security cameras, because our footsteps were loud enough.

Harley seemed pretty sure on where she was leading us, so I didn't bother to contradict anything. Even though I wasn't too sure Harley was on our side, I let everyone follow her.

She constantly wore this face. A face that was unreadable. She wore it so nobody could tell that she was lying. And it worked, because I could tell Daisee was fully trusting her.

Getting back to the lobby made me wonder how'd we get out. The chains were on the other side, so I hoped Harley had some sort of plan.

"What do we do?" Sam asks, pointing at the door. Harley thinks for a minute, looking at the ceiling.

"There's got to be another exit," I say. "A fire exit."

"That'll set off alarms," Daisee replies, leaning on Tyler. He didn't seem to mind, but I could tell we were all tired.

"It's worth getting you to a hospital," Tyler remarks, looking at Harley. "Right?" She nods.

"Alright. There should be one in the back. It won't take more then five minutes to get there. And then we'll call the police."

"But what if they catch us?" Daisee questions.

"Then we'll run," Tyler says, sarcasm edging his tired voice. She gave him a nasty look, and glanced around.

"It's our only option," I say, and look around. "We need to get Daisee to a hospital, and fast. She needs it, because that nail was most likely rusted."

"Then come on," Harley says. "Follow me. I know where the exit is." I nodded, and watched her start walking. We all followed in suit, again having no other option. But, to be fair, it was five against one.

But I still have no idea what she is capable of. Why is she here in this building? She's not in any of my classes, except my last one.

My eyes fell to her back pocket. There was something there. Something that was sticking out at the top, and disappeared into her pocket. The outline of what was in her pocket scared me.

It's a knife. Harley has a knife.

I froze instantly, which made Sam bump into the back of me.

"Raylin, keep going," Sam says, walking beside me. I nodded, and made my feet move again. My brain was screaming at me that this was a major red flag. If she were really with is, she would have told us if she had a knife. But I couldn't point it out. What if she used it on us, and I was the only one expecting it?

Oh god...
