As soon as I saw Harley, I recognized her. She was a girl in my math class.

Harley, Jennifer, and I all talked for a bit. The place we were talking in was comfortable. I don't know why... it was just comforting.

"Raylin? You need to go back," I heard someone say. I turned my head. It bugged me that they all knew my name. I had no clue in the slightest this person's name, yet she knew mine.

"Alright," I say. I stood up. "I'll see ya in class, Harley." She nods. I hugged Jennifer quickly, and followed this person out. She didn't seem too much older then me.

I was put in the office with Morrigan.

"Alright. I shall drive you back to the hospital, and escort you to your hospital room. You shall tell Jaime you signed up for some sort of after school activity. Or anything like that. Maybe even volunteer work. Whatever you tell her, you have to remember what you said. Understand? We can pick you up from school. Either myself or Ellie will." I nodded.

Why do I have to deal with this?

~

I laid in my hospital bed, exhausted. I was supposed to be asleep.

I was happy to remember that the time had stopped, and it was still only twelve thirty two.

Laying my head back on the pillow, I felt comfortable again.

The clocks started again, and I groaned. I'd wake up, and this all would be a dream.

I took a deep breath, and looked at my phone. No messages.

~

"She's recovering rather quickly. We think that if she agrees to keep a brace on her wrist for a week, she is eligible to leave," my doctor tells Jaime. I nodded, and watched the doctor turn to me. "Alright. Raylin, get dressed into the clothes your mother provided, and walk down to the waiting room."

"Ok," I reply. He nodded, and followed Jaime outside of the room.

I stood, and looked at the clothes. I got changed as quickly as I could, careful to not use my left wrist too much. It was painful to use. They said it was sprained, but it'd be ok if the brace stayed on.

My phone beeped, and I rushed to grab it.

Justin: Hey... I was thinking about everything, and I need to talk to you. Any idea when you get home?

Me: I'm going home today. What do you wanna talk about?

Justin: I think it's obvious.

Me: Yeah.. I know...

I didn't get a reply after that. And instantly I knew what he was going to say. I felt sadness overwhelm me. Justin would hate me for life.

I walked out, and saw the same hallway I passed out in the previous night. Doctors walked into rooms, some having people trail behind them.

I stepped out, and fast-walked to the waiting room, wanting to get out of the area as soon as possible. Jaime and Sam both smiled when they saw me. Sam's was sympathetic while Jamie's was just happy to see me out of the hospital gown.

I sat by Sam in a chair, and tapped my fingers against the wooden part.

"I'm really sorry, Raylin. I probably messed up-"

"No, no, Sam, it's ok," I say. "It's fine. I'm happy he knows. I don't hafta tell him myself."

"I'm sorry.." I sighed, and clutched my phone tighter. I knew it was over between me and Justin.

"It's honestly ok, Sam. I hated lying to him. If he doesn't want to be with me, that's his decision."

I sighed, and wrapped the brace tighter to distract myself.
