I got on the bus, and sighed. Finally Friday.

I watched as we got to Justin's stop. I asked him to start riding the bus, so he could sit with me. He instantly said ok.

"Hey," he greeted, sitting by me.

"Hey," I say. He kissed my cheek. I couldn't help but smile. He always made my mood even better, even if I was already happy.

"So, tonight I was hoping we could go see a movie," he says. I nodded.

"What's out?" I asked. He shrugged, and gazed out the window. I messed with my brace, and looked down. I hated it, and wanted it off as soon as possible. It was uncomfortable, and made me not able to sit still in class.

We got to school, and right away I recognized a car. The car that was used to pick me and Harley up. I groaned, and hoped it wasn't for me.

"Hey, Morrigan want us down there," Harley tells me, stopping in front of me. She looked out of breath. I glanced at Justin before following her to the car.

We got in the back, and the normal people were there. Lanea, Harley, and the driver.

"What about school?" I questioned, looking at Harley.

"Morrigan said she had it covered," she spoke, playing with a strand of her long, brown hair. Her hair was so pretty.

"Morrigan's a liar," Lanea says. "She doesn't care what happen with your outside life, just as long as she has control of-"

"Enough," Harley cuts her off. She looks at me, shrugging.

"I'm right," she says, a little annoyance to her voice. Harley rolled her eyes, and brought her phone out. Lanea was weird, I'll definitely admit that. But Harley seemed so harsh towards the blonde.

After a few minutes, we got there. As soon as I stepped out, Morrigan was rushing me inside. I tried keeping up, and opened the doors.

I winced as her hand grasped around my brace. She pulled me to her office, and turned to the door. She slammed it shut, and looked at me.

"They're trying to take you. You're their main focus. You are not safe, and need to be taken here as quickly as possible," she says.

"What? No, my house is safe. And school has a security syst-"

"Raylin! You could be taken in the middle of the night!" She yells. "Do you understand how high the stakes are? If they take you, you'll be dead by morning!" The sudden change in her attitude made me uncomfortable.

"Why so sudden?" I asked. "Yesterday, this wasn't such an issue."

"Because we were given information that they have a new recruit from your school. Not just one person is there, Raylin. There are over twenty students working for them."

"Why do you guys refer to them as.. them? What's their company name?"

"That's not important. What is important, is that you're out of harms way," she replies, smoothing over my question like nothing. She grabbed a piece of paper from her desk, and a pen.

"I'm not leaving Jaime-"

"Then keep my number on speed dial. If they try anything, you call," she shoved me the paper. "Now, go and walk around until noon. That way we can get you back, and nobody will notice."

"What's their name?" I repeated my previous question.

"Its not important. Go," she says. I sighed, and walked out.

I looked on the back of the paper. It listed all the names of the staff who worked here.

The clock read nine, and I groaned, knowing this would be a long three hours.
