Me and Justin sat by each other, considering there was no assign seats yet. One other, the girl from computer, sat by him. He didn't look happy as she sat down.
"Hey hun," she says, loosely hanging her arm around his shoulder. He shrugged her off, and pulled away from her.
"Look, Sammi, it's over between us. Keep your hands off me," he snaps. She looked at me.
"Why? You with her now?" She asks. He looks at her.
"No. I just don't need you-" she pressed her lips against his, and my mouth opened in shock. After a moment, she pulled away, smiling. She stood, brushing her fingers along his chest as doing so. She smiled even brighter.
"I'll see ya around," she mummerd, while looking at me. I closed my mouth, and her smile brightened. She walked to a table with two other girls. Why are there always two little minions?
"That looked interesting," I said, looking at the bewildered boy in front of me. "So, who's she?" I asked.
"Samantha Garneth. We used to date, but recently we- I broke it off. I just didn't feel that spark, ya know?"
"And she wants you back?" I asked. He nods, and rolls his eyes. I smirked. "So, who's her friends?"
"Ava, and Sadie. Ava used to be a cool girl. I used to hang out with her. Then, well, Sadie and Sammi got their clutches on her."
"How long were you and Sammi together?"
"Four months, I think. She was more then a fling to me then an actual girlfriend. Thing is, she can have anyone, considering who she is." I nodded, and watched the teacher hand out papers. I looked at it, and suppressed a groan. I had to fill things out I didn't even know. I picked up my pencil, and filled out the only two things I knew. What to do if a knife drops, and how many burners were on a stove.
I watched Justin fill out his paper, and took some of his answers, pretending I knew them.
Another girl walked in, just as the bell rang. She wore a light blue sweatshirt around her waist, which covered only a bit of her stomach. Her stomach was revealed because of the crop top she wore, which covered only her chest and a few inches below. She wore shorts that, like Sammi, covered half her thighs.
Justin looked at her as she walked over to us, and sat in the empty seat.
"Hey Justin. What's up?" She asked. He handed her one of the papers.
"Attempting to fill out this stupid paper. I don't know more then half the answers. It's so pointless."
"Who are you?" She asks me. I put on a smile.
"Raylin. You?"
"No offense, but that sounds like a baby name."
"Well, at one point I was a baby, so," I chuckled. Justin kinda laughed, as did this girl.
"Well, I'm Lacey," she replied, and pulled out a pack of gum. She took a piece, and stuck it in her mouth. She offered Justin a piece, which he took. Then me. I took it, and stuck it in my mouth as well.
A burst of mint flooded my mouth, and I smiled at the taste. Extremely minty.
I listened to the two talk, getting all information as I could. Maybe I was right. Maybe this school could be a good change.
