Me and Justin were cuddled on his bed, a blanket over us as we watched more of The Walking Dead. He held some popcorn to my mouth, and I gladly ate it.

It was Friday, so Jaime said I could stay as long as his mom would allow. What she didn't know, was that his mom worked third shift on the weekends. Well, the weekends and Friday.

He randomly kissed the top of my head. I smiled, my arms around him tightening.

I felt tired, and looked up at him. He placed a few pieces of popcorn into his mouth, and watched as Rick pulled his gun up on the TV.

"What time does Jaime normally go to bed?" He asks.

"She's already asleep. She messaged me awhile ago saying she was going to bed." He nods, and kissed my cheek. "You look tired."

"Eh..." I trailed off, and he chuckled.

"Go ahead and sleep. I'll wake you in a bit," he says. I smiled. "I'll put something else on, so that you don't miss anything."

We laid down, us facing each other. He kissed my lips, and I felt my eyes closed.

~

"You what?!" Justin yelled, shoving me away. I looked down in shame.

"I-Im sorry.. I want it to go away, I do.."

"Its not. And I can't have a girlfriend that is weird like that. It'll, ya know, drag my record down."

I felt my chest have a pain. The pain started hurting a lot.

I gasped, dropping on my knees. My chest wouldn't allow any breath to enter.

~

"Woah, woah. Raylin, wake up." I blinked my eyes open, and looked up at Justin. "You ok? You were mumbling 'sorry' over and over in your sleep."

"A bad dream, that's all..." I said, relieved we were still together. He didn't hate me. Yet.

"Aww, it's ok," he says, pulling me closer. "What was it about?"

"You dumped me. You told me I was too weird."

"Nah, your dorkiness is adorable," he says. I chuckled, and looked what time it was. It was surprisingly only midnight.

Until about one, we both were awake. Then, we both kinda passed out, holding each other as we did.

~

I woke the next morning to Justin shaking me. I sat up, and looked at the time. Noon.

"Uhh..."

"Whoops," he chuckled. I laughed, and sat fully up. "Don't think we hafta tell anyone about this. I mean, well, I get to brag that the best girl in the world stayed the night. And fell asleep while I was holding her." I rolled my eyes, and checked my phone.

Jaime: Hey. I have a surprise for you and Sam. I know ya probably just got over to his house but come on home as soon as possible.

Me:  Oh, ok. I'll be over in a minute.

Jaime: Lol it's ok, take your time.

"Jaime thinks I just came over. So, I think I'm in the clear," I say. He smiled. "But she wants me home for something she got for me and Sam."

"Ok. Hey, you wanna go see a movie today?" He asks. I smiled, and nodded. "I'll look up movies and times and text ya later, ok?"

"Sounds good. See ya later," I said, walking out into the hallway.

The walking eventually turned into jogging until I got home. Excitement was bubbling inside of me.

"Hey," I said to Jaime once I got home. She smiled, and grabbed my hand. She dragged me into the living room, where Sam was on the couch. He was petting a puppy. I gasped, and dropped down to pet it.

It was a german shepherd, and I felt myself about to actually explode on how cute it was.

"Its a girl. But, you guys need to pick out a name," she says. Me and Sam smiled, looking at each other. We always agreed on two names. The two names we wished were ours since we were about ten.

"Its a girl?" Sam checked.

"Yeap," she replied.

"Marissa," we say in unison.

"We say a movie awhile ago. It was about twins. We agreed if we ever got a pet, we'd name it either Marissa or Peter." She smiled.

"You guys going to get along again?" She asks. Me and Sam looked at each other. We smiled, and nodded. Justin was right. Blood doesn't matter.

At the end of the movie, we walked out into the arcade. I put in a five into the machine, and got a bunch of tokens in return.

We played air hockey, him beating me by two points. We laughed, and walked to the claw machine. I adjusted the Five Nights at Freddys hat, and watched him fail at attempting to get something.

He put more coins in, and tried again. I laughed as the time ran out, and he groaned.

But whatever he was trying to get was pulled into the metal clutches, and was dropped into the box thing at the bottom. He reached in, and grabbed a small box out. He opened it, and groaned.

"Dang! I wanted candy!" He snapped. I laughed, and looked at it. It was a plain chain. "Want?" He asked. I shrugged, and he dropped the box, and held the semi long chain. "Here, turn around, and I'll clip it." I did, and felt his bring it around my head. It rested onto my neck, and he fumbled with the clip in the back.

After awhile, we ran out of coins.

"Ok. Well, my brother ought to be outside waiting. We can finish up season four," he tells me. I nodded, and felt his hand slip into mine.

We walked out. The place was practically deserted, considering our movie ended at a later time.

Me and Justin were talking, and laughing. A car was parked outside on the road. I assumed it was waiting, and we crossed the road. That's when the car moved forward. Fast.

I screamed, and we stood frozen in fear. My mind went to one of the only things I was afraid to do in front of anyone.

I used everything I possibly could to stop the car. Two inches in front of us. Justin looked at me, his mouth open. He stood there, in shock.

"Move," I snapped. He didn't. I sighed, thinking of what to do. The tinted car in front of had its wheels going. I made one quick decision.

I let my focus go on the car, and shoved Justin out of the way.

And whoever was in the car kept going. I didn't feel anything. I saw the car continue moving, and a whole lot of blackness.
