"Do you think it's still safe?" Amana asks. Morrigan nodded. I was confused.

"Why wouldn't it be?" I questioned, looking up at them. Morrigan looked at me, and gave a doubtful look.

"Because they know where you are," Amana says, looking at me with slight fear. "They want to take you guys away from us, and control you."

"Who's they?"

"A company. They know about us, and try to get our students. They were probably who hit you. Considering they didn't stop. Amana call off all classes. I want our students in their rooms, or sent home."

I looked at her, a confused look spread on my face. She no longer had her typical happy expression, but rather a serious, and almost scared look.

"I'll have you dropped off," she says, looking at me. I nodded, still confused.

As soon as I was dropped off at my house, I walked inside.

"Hey. Home so early?" Jaime asks.

"Yeah, we got let out early. Can I go over to Justin's?"

"You look a little peaked.. are you alright?" She asked, pressing the back of her hand against my forehead. I nodded, pulling away. "Ok, go ahead," she says.

I placed my bookbag down, and started for the door.

"Bookbag upstairs," she says. I huffed, and pulled it upstairs.

I was out the door minutes later, jogging for Justin's. One good thing was I didn't have to do any classes for MRC tomorrow.

He answered the door, and I hugged him. He hugged back, and gave me a questioning look.

What's up?" He asks. I didn't want his arms to leave me.

"There's another company. They..." I trailed off. "Don't let me go. You make me feel safe." He chuckled.

"I won't... but come on. We'll go in my room, and you can tell me what happened." I nodded, and we walked upstairs.

I sat on his bed, and he put a movie in. He sat behind me, his legs going around me. He pulled me closer, and kissed my cheek from behind, as well as wrapping his arms around me.

"You wanna tell me?" He asks. I shrugged, and let my head rest on his chest.

"There are people after MRC kids. That's about all I know.. but that car? I think it was them. They tried killing me."

"Oh..." he mummerd. His grip tightened.

"I've messed up a lot.." I say, looking up at him.

"No you haven't.. you got thrown this.. thing, and you're dealing with it."

"No, you don't understand. I messed up. I know you're not going to believe me if I tell you how, and I don't want you to think even less of me-"

"It's ok, Raylin. You don't have to tell me. Although, I do trust you and everything you tell me. I mean, come on, I saw you stop a car." I looked up at him, and smiled. He kissed the top of my head.

"You make me feel safe," I admitted. "I love you holding me," I added. He smiled.

"I love holding you. And I love that you love it. It makes me feel like someone wants me for something, ya know? You make me feel wanted, and.. I don't know, you drive me crazy. A good crazy." I wrapped my arms around his neck, and kissed him.

"I love you," I blurt out. "I don't think I've told you that, but I do." He smiled even brighter.

He ran a hand down my cheek, and moved a lock of hair.

"Good. Because I didn't want you to leave me for some reason. I want you to be mine for as long as you want to be."

We cuddled until Jaime told me to come home.
