Goodbye, Roxy.

It's been about a month since my last encounter with Jacob. His name makes me sick to my stomach.

I was lying across my bed staring at my ceiling when I felt somebody sit beside me. It was Martika.

"How are you feeling, sweetheart?" They've all been watching me like hawks since that day. I can't particularly say that I blame them. In fact, I enjoyed their company.

"I'm fine, really. Just a little tired." she rubbed my head and smiled. "Get some rest silly. Don't force yourself to stay up." I looked at her and laughed softly. "I'll be okay. I just think it's time I go back to school."

She raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you'll be well enough to go?" I wasn't even sure if I was, but I lied. "Of course! You guys shouldn't be missing school. I can be watched there too." We both laughed and she hugged me.

My phone started ringing, it was Tank.

"Hello?"

"Roxy! Thank God."

"What's going on?" I stood up and paced the room.

"I..it's Jacob. He's coming back for you."

I couldn't say a word.

"Roxy. We're leaving now. Okay we'll be there soon. just don't let him in." he hung up the phone and I looked at Martika.

"We have to hide. Now!" I pulled her to a closet in one of the guest rooms. We held each other close, shaking.

"Roxy, tell me what's going on." she whispered. "Jacob is coming. He knows every way to get into the house. Tank said they were on their way. " She nodded.

Then we heard a loud slam. We covered our mouths and peeked through the crack in the door. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. My heart felt like it was going to burst. Then I saw a shadow.

We closed our eyes. "Roxy?Baby?Where are you ?! please answer me!" I burst out of the closet.

"Xander! " I was sobbing as I hugged him close to my body.

Tank came in right after and grabbed Martika. She was sobbing as well.

We all four stood in silence. Nobody knew what to say. I finally whispered. "I'm so sorry.." Xander held my face between his hands and kissed me. "Don't be sorry, my love. We're in this together. Until the very end."

I loved Xander. More than my own life. I wanted to show him. But having him protect me from my crazy ex wasn't helping anything.

"You guys, I'm really tired. I'm gonna lie down for a while. The guest room is all yours." I yawned and laid on my bed. Martika and Tank nodded and left my room. Xander stood at my window not saying a word.

"Babe, come to bed. Please?" he sighed and sat on the bed. "I can't let anything happen to you, Roxy!" he clenched his fists. "Nothing will happen..." I was scared to look at him. He was always so calm. He stormed out of my room. I jumped out of my bed and ran after him. I couldn't let him leave.

"Wait! Where are you going?!" he stopped but didn't turn around. "Maybe we shouldn't be together. He's doing this because we're together." his words were cold. "H-how could you..." I backed away from him slowly. I felt raindrops falling. "Goodbye, Roxy. " he jumped in his car and left.

I stood in my yard while the rain soaked me. I couldn't move. I couldn't breathe. My heart was shattered. I wrapped my arms around my body and dropped to my knees.

I was crying.

I stood back up and started walking down the road. I didn't care what happened to me. Anything was better this. I walked for twenty minutes then reached a familiar house.

Jacob's house. I walked up and started banging on his door.

"I know you're here Jacob! Open the fucking door!" The door slung open and I accidentally hit Jacob.

"Roxy?what the hell are you doing?! you're soaked!" I shoved him "Are you fucking happy?! He left me to protect me from you! Why can't you accept the fact I love him! I am in love with Xander! You had your chance but you screwed up, Jacob! " I was crying harder than before. His dark eyes stayed on mine.

"Why are you doing this.." he dropped his head. He wouldn't answer.

I walked back down the road. He stood there. Motionless. My whole body was hurting. I needed to get him back. Losing him of all people is wrong.
