Our summer together was perfect. We spent every moment of every day together. We became closer than ever, and I'm pretty damn happy about that.

Summer left as quickly as it came. I was pleased with how everything went. There was no fighting, no drama. Just us, with our friends. Everybody got along like they should. I knew this was the start of something incredible.

Soon, our wedding was going to be here, and I'm beyond nervous.

"Are you sure you want to get married?"

"For the 20th time today, YES ROXANNE." Xander snapped at me.

"Sorry..." I was positive about wanting to marry this man, but my emotions were taking over and I was terrified of him leaving me at the alter.

He sighed and held my hands between his. "I'm sorry, sweetheart. I didn't mean to yell. I just don't want to do something you don't want to do. If you want to wait, fine, we'll put everything on hold." He whispered kissing my fingers. "I want to marry you, Xander. I'm just scared you'll change your mind..." my voice trailing off.

"That's insane. I'd never change my mind." His voice put me at ease for now. But I knew it wouldn't last, the wedding is soon and it's going to get busy as hell which is something I'm not looking forward to.

"Sooo, are you ready to be Mrs. Sanders?" Sky asked taking a long drag off her cigarette.

I nodded. "I actually am, I'm nervous about the actual wedding though. I mean, what if I screw up?"

She leaned in towards me to hold my hands. "You won't mess up, sweets. Even if you do, we'll all be there with you, and I'm sure Xander won't think of you any differently." Her words gave me some confidence, but I was still nervous.

We talked for about a hour longer, then my phone started ringing.

"Hello?"

"Ms. Michael's? This is Rachel, from Rachel's Flowers."

"Oh! Hi, Rachel. Is something wrong?"

"No ma'am, I was just calling to ask the color flowers and what kind."

I paused, I didn't know much about flowers. I only knew of a few.

"Um, I'm not quite sure what kind, but the wedding colors are Lilac and black. You can choose them if you'd like. I just want something simple but elegant."

"Hmm, I think I have the perfect thing."

For someone who lived in France, she spoke perfect english It was amazing.

"Alright, thank you so, so much."

"No problem sweetheart. I'll see you in a few days!"

She hung up, and I smiled to myself.

"Are you ready to meet the girls to get your dress, Rox?"

"Yeah, let's go."

I wanted to wait until it was almost time for the wedding. My body has been acting so strange lately. Gaining weight then losing it, then gaining it again. It's completely annoying.

We made our way to the dress shop downtown.. Mar, Dixie, and Cat were already there. When they saw us, they ran and hugged us as tight as they could. Geez, they act like they haven't seen us in forever.

"Hello, ladies. I take it this is the Michael's appointment?" A beautiful woman came walking towards us. She had long brunette hair, and legs than stretched for miles. She had the most beautiful smile

"Yes, ma'am. That's us!" Cat squeaked jumping around.

"Right this way, ladies."

We followed behind her, as she took us to the back room.

"Now who is the bride?"

I raised my hand slowly, blushing. "That'd be me."

She clapped her hands together once, then smiled.

"A beautiful bride you will be. Now, let's go look at some dresses. Ladies, please take a seat and we'll be back soon with the first dress." She motioned her hands towards the Long, white couch. We went into the room and my God. There was so many beautiful dresses. I didn't know where to start!

"Did you have a specific dress in mind?" She asked, calmly looking at me.

"Um, well, I was thinking of a strapless ball gown dress. I want something simple, but not too simple."

A smile spread across her face.

"I think I have just what you're looking for. One moment please." She disappeared and came back within twenty seconds. Wow, she was fast. She handed me the dress, then showed me to the dressing room

I walked inside, there was no mirrors. I shrugged and slipped the dress on. It fit perfectly. I walked out the door and the lady's eyes grew wide.

"I-is something wrong?"

"No! You look.. gorgeous! Let's go show the ladies."

We headed out to the room where they were. I took a deep breath and slowly walked out. I stood on the platform and looked at myself in the mirror. I could feel tears forming in my eyes. It was so beautiful! It was a .ball gown dress, with a sweetheart neckline, pearls lined the corset, and it had a tiny lilac colored bow near my hip, above my waist. It was everything I ever imagined, plus more.

"Roxy... You look... incredible!' Dixie squealed the last word.

"So, this one?" They all nodded enthusiastically.

Surprisingly the dress was only a thousand dollars.

"Um, excuse me, ma'am. I'm sorry, but I was wondering if you had some dresses for like, after the wedding? Preferably something short."

"We do. Actually, it's very similar to your wedding gown. It's more of a cocktail dress. But still elegantly flattering."

I smiled, waiting for her to bring it out.

"I love it.." She smiled at me, and I paid for both dresses.

Just as we were heading out, my phone rang. It was Xander.

"Hi, baby!"

"Hi, sweetheart. Where are you?"

"I just picked up my wedding dress. Why?"

There was a long pause.

"Xander? What's going on?" I was starting to panic.

He finally answered. "Sorry, nothing is wrong baby. I went to the airport and since there is so many people flying over, Tank and I rented a jet. It's a nice size. Not that expensive though, it'll sit everybody comfortably." I could hear the pride in his voice.

"Oh! That is great! Thank you so much, sweetheart. I'll have to thank you both when I see you!" I giggled.

"I can't wait until you're my wife, Rox." He whispered, his voice full of love.

"I can't wait either, sweetie. Just a few more days."

"I'll see you soon, baby. Love you!"

We hung up. That phone call made my entire day.
