I walked for what seemed like forever. The rain was still pouring. I wasn't quite sure of Where I was so I looked around.

I was lost.

I stood there not knowing what to do. I left my phone so I couldn't call anybody. Then I saw headlights. As the car approached me, it slowed down. It looked familiar, but I couldn't make it out because of the rain. When the car stopped in front of me, the door flew open. "Roxy! What are you doing?! "

It was Trae.

"Everybody is looking for you!" I didn't say anything. I just looked at the ground. He got out of his car and hugged me. "Roxy, I'm sorry. We heard what happened. But you can't just leave like this! You know Jacob is after you. We want you safe."

I looked up at him and even the rain couldn't hide my swollen eyes. "Roxy.. come on it's okay. Please don't cry." I halfheartedly smiled at him. "Can you please take me home. Or anywhere. " he picked me up and brought me to the passenger side. He jumped back into the car and we drove off down the road. I stared out the window but didn't say a word. I was so tired. Mentally. Not physically. I didn't know what I was going to do. As soon as I found my true happiness. I lost him.

"Trae?" I whispered. "What is it?" I paused. "I need him back." He nodded. Neither of us said anything else after that. So, before i knew it, I was in a deep sleep.

"Roxy? Wake up! Come on. Don't do this to me." I felt somebody shaking me but I couldn't open my eyes. "Please wake up, Roxy!" Suddenly my eyes popped open and I gasped for air. I felt arms around me. I was still with Trae. "Roxy! Oh my gosh. You're okay!" I looked at him, confused. "Why wouldn't I be?" he just stared at me. "You weren't breathing. I tried waking you up for 45 minutes but nothing." My heartbeat was off. It didn't have the rhythm I knew too well. It was very different. I looked at him. He had a faint smile. But he looked as if he had been crying. "Trae? Why were you crying?" His cheeks turned red.

"I..I I was scared something happened to you." I raised an eyebrow then smiled. "You really are like a brother to me." I hugged him and he laughed. I pulled away and he looked into my eyes. "Your eyes...They're blue." I nodded. "Yeah...They've been blue for about 18 years now." He kept staring. We sat there for a few minutes. He moved his face closer to mine.

My heart started pounding in my chest.

What the hell is he doing?!
