"Stop being so damn stubborn and let me see your eye, Roxy!"
I was fighting Xander, not letting him near my injured eye. "I. Am. FIne!" He shot a harsh glare at me.
"Roxy, baby, show me your eye. I won't touch it, I just want to see what the douchedick did to my fiance." I sighed and moved my hand away from my eye. He sighed. "Well, you have a black eye now.."
I kissed him softly. "Don't worry, I'll make sure nobody thinks you did this. Even if they do, who cares. We know what happened."
"Baby, I don't want anybody to think that I'd ever do something like this to you. You're so precious to me. I would never do this. Never."
I smiled and pulled him into a tight hug. I know he'd never purposely hurt me. He's really an amazing guy.
"Tank, sweetie, are you hungry?"
"Nah, I'm okay. Thanks anyway. I should be going soon. Martika is excepting me." He stood up and stretched. He gave me a quick kiss on my cheek and walked out the front door. I laid on the couch and closed my eyes. I was exhausted. Not even five minutes later, I was asleep.
I woke up the next morning still on the couch. But Xander was under me. My head was in his lap and he was still asleep. it was still dark outside, so I decided to wake Xander up so we could go get in the bed.
"Babe." I said sleepily, shaking him. He groaned. "Yeah."
"Let's go get in the bed." I stood up grabbing his hand. He was still asleep for the most part. I wrapped my arms around him and headed for the stairs. He was still walking, but he was asleep. We made it into the room, and I laid him on the bed. I looked at him and smiled to myself.
"My big baby." I whispered.
"Shut up and get in bed." He mumbled.
I jumped, not expecting him to hear me. I laughed to myself and crawled in the bed beside him. His strong arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me against his body. I couldn't move, so I drifted off into a deep sleep.
I woke up a few hours later, still wrapped In Xander's arms. The way it should be. He was smiling in his sleep. He looked so cute. I didn't want to move from that spot, but we couldn't stay in bed all day. I shook him gently.
"Baby, it's 9. Wake up."
He groaned. He never wanted to get up. I tried to pull his arms away from me, but he just held tighter. "We don't have any plans for today. You can't get up." I smiled. "We have to go see our friends. I haven't seen most of them in a while. We can invite them over for a drink or something. Please?" he sighed. "Fine." His arms went limp, but they stayed around my body. I was finally able to move. I sat up and stretched. I was still in my clothes from yesterday. Ugh.
I walked over to the mirror. I jumped and laughed. My reflection scared me.
"What are you laughing at?"
"I just scared myself. hah." he laughed and rolled out of bed, hitting the floor.
"Ouch." He sighed.
"My husband." I grabbed some clothes and walked to the bathroom. I turned the water on, and suddenly felt arms around me.
"You should really close the bathroom door more often." He whispered. His lips pressed against my neck, I let out a soft moan. He started pulling at my panties, but I stopped him.
"I've turned you into a sex addict."
"No, I'm just addicted to you. You're my drug." I smiled and turned to face him. His eyes met mine.
I was in love with this man. There was no changing that.
I gave him a quick kiss. "Let's just wash right now, okay?" he smiled and we took our shower together. After about a hour, we finally got out.
"Can you get my clothes out the drawer, babe?" He said, drying his hair with a towel. I nodded and grabbed his clothes. As I handed him the clothes, looked me up and down. I looked at myself, as well.
"Is something wrong?" He smiled, "No, you're perfect." Weird.. What's gotten into him? Whatever, it was probably nothing.
I didn't bother messing with my hair, I just threw it in a sloppy bun and walked downstairs waiting for Xander. I decided I'd try to find my phone. I searched in the couch and all over the kitchen. I was about to give up when I saw something white in the corner of my eye. It was my phone. "Thank God." I mumbled. The LED light was flashing so I unlocked it.
"Hm. Dix texted me." I went into my text messages to check it.
"Come over asap. We need to talk."
I wonder what it's about.
"Babe, I'm heading over to Dixies. She wants to talk about something. I'll be back soon." I yelled up the stairs. It was raining, so I ran to my car and hopped in. I am glad i decided to wear converses. I have a feeling i'll be a lot of running due to the rain. Dixie's house wasn't too far from mine, so it didn't take very long to get there. I pulled in the yard, ran to the door and walked inside. It was oddly quiet, and dark. I set my keys on the little table beside the door. Not thinking, I left the door open and continued to ease forward.
"Dix? Are you here?"
Nothing.
"Dixie! This isn't fun-" I was cut off by a hand covering my mouth, roughly. I couldn't see who it was, so I started to panic. I squirmed trying to break free. The attacker gripped my hair, tightly, forcing me to stay still. Then I heard a familiar voice.
"You aren't getting away from me that easily." The voice was deep and ominous. It freaked me out a little, then it hit me. It was jacob
"What did you do with my sister, Jacob?" I hissed between breaths. He just chuckled slightly.
"She's upstairs. But you don't want to see that. Now do you?" I felt anger rising in my body. I was able to break free from his grasp. I ran up the stairs as fast as I could. I ran into her room to see her laid out on the bed. I ran over to her side and checked her pulse. She was alive. I pulled my cellphone out of my pocket and called the police. Before I could give them the address, Jacob knocked my phone out of my hand and broke it to pieces. Shit. Hopefully they'd be able to track it. I was able to run into the bathroom and lock the door, luckily, Dixie left her phone in there. I called Xander in a panic. He understood, and told me he'd be there in a minute. I had to protect my sister from being harmed even more.
I ran out the bathroom door and saw Jacob standing beside the bedroom door, just staring at me.
"Oh, sweet, Roxy. You don't think that anybody can save you or your sister now, do you?"
My fists clenched as I walked over to him.
"Why are you doing this?! Why can't you leave us all alone?!" I shoved him as hard as I could and he stumbled backwards, falling down the stairs. I heard police sirens. I ran over and picked up Dixie, carrying her down the steps and out the door. Xander and Tank ran up to me.
"Is she okay?" Tank asked, taking her from my arms. I couldn't answer.
I blacked out.
