"Wake up, Ms. Birthday girl!"
Xander was jumping on me.
"Stop it, you ass." he laughed. "Babe, come on. We have stuff to do."
"How about no." I said pulling the covers over my head. He laid beside me and wrapped his strong arms around my waist. "Is this what you want to do today?"
"Pretty much." I mumbled smiling to myself. I could feel his breath on my skin. He moved closer and pressed his body against mine. I felt his lips on my shoulder, making their way down my arm. He started to rub my thighs. "Babe. What are you doing?"
"Making my beautiful, soon-to-be bride feel good." I turned around to face him. "Yeah, it's working. It's working pretty damn well." He pressed his lips against mine.
As our lips moved against each others, he crawled on top of me, rubbing my body.
I pulled away for a second to catch my breath. "Xander, what are you doing?" he smiled and kissed my neck lightly. "Hopefully making you happy." I sat up and leaned on my elbows.
"I am always happy with you, silly." he laid beside me staring at the ceiling. "Is everything okay?" no answer. I kept my eyes on him. He reached over and held my hand tightly. I smiled to myself then jumped out of bed. "What time is it?!" he stared at me. "2:34 why?"
My eyes grew wide. "I slept that long?" he nodded slowly. "Oh God. This isn't good. I had an appointment with the company that's doing the flowers for our wedding."
He had a smug look on his face. "I rescheduled, babe. It's your birthday. You don't get to worry about our wedding or school. Everything is going to be okay. I promise."
I groaned and laid across the bed. "We still have the party tonight."
He stood up. "I've already picked out your dress."
"What?" He walked over to my door and grabbed a dress that was hanging on the door. It was black and white striped, with a pink bow on the chest. I loved it.
"Xander, it's beautiful. Oh! I also have a surprise for you."
I reached into the bedside table drawer and pulled out a key. "What are these to?" He said eying the key. I smiled. "Our new apartment." His eyes grew wide.
"You.. you got us an apartment?" I nodded. "I did. It's pretty big. Very lovely. None of our friends know where it is." He picked me up, and spun me around. "Roxy, this is perfect! I love you so much." I giggled and kissed his forehead. "Now we can start our life together, the right way. Happy birthday, sweetie."
He kissed me deeply. "So, when do we go buy furniture?" I paused for a second. "We can go tomorrow, if you'd like." He nodded rather quickly. "Sounds like a plan."
It was around 7 when we started getting ready for the party. "Does this look okay?" he asked walking up beside me.
"You look incredible."
"As do you, my love."
We smiled at each other and walked down the stairs.
"You ready?" I said grabbing my keys.
He nodded and we walked out the door.
As we pulled up to Cat's we heard loud music. Xander wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me against him. "Well, here we go." he rang the doorbell. "Nolan swung the door open. "Hey guys!" he was drunk already. We laughed slightly as we walked into the house. "Woah..." There was at least 300 hundred people there. "Xander's grip tightened around me. We walked up to Cat. She was drunk as well. "What the hell Cat?" Xander hissed. "It's a party!"
No shit Sherlock.
There was half naked people dancing on one another. A few people making out. This was insane.
"It's our party." I sighed. I felt somebody tap my shoulder.
I turned around to see Jacob standing there. "Hey birthday girl!" he embraced me in a tight hug. "Hey, Jacob." I smiled hugging back. Luckily he was sober.
He looked around then back at me. "Some party, huh?" he said shaking his head. "I've been here five minutes and I already want to leave." He laughed. "I know the feeling. Some girl just threw herself at me. I was about to leave when I saw your pretty self." I smiled. "Whatever, Jacob." he laughed slightly. "You look amazing, Rox."
"You do too."
"Oh! I have a gift for you."
I tilted my head to the side. "Jacob, you didn't have to get me anything, really."
He shook his head. "I wanted to. I made it anyway." He handed me a small box. I pulled the bow off and opened it. It was a leather bracelet with my name on it. "Jacob....I love it. Thank you so much." he smiled and I kissed his cheek. "I'm glad you like it." he took it from my hands slowly and slid it on my wrist.
I looked at him and all the memories of us came flooding back.
"What's wrong, Roxy?"
"Nothing, I'm fine." He just stared at me. "Oh, I was meaning to tell you that I'd like you to attend our wedding." His eyes grew wide. "Really?"
I nodded. "You're on the list. I'll send you an invitation soon." He smiled slightly. "Sounds good. But I'm gonna go home. I'm pretty tired, and this is just a little too much right now." I nodded. "Alright, thank you for coming. Text me sometime." He nodded and walked out the door.
I turned to say something to Xander, and he was gone. I started walking through the crowd trying to find him. I asked Tank and he hadn't seen him so I walked upstairs. I opened Cat's bedroom door to see Xander sitting on her bed, kissing another girl.
My heart dropped.
