As we pulled up to our spot, it was completely empty. Not a soul was there and we were happy about that. We left the headlights on and played some slow music. Xander grabbed my waist and pulled me against him. He still had that worried look on his face.

"Babe, tell me what is wrong." I whispered so only he'd hear.

He sighed. "I'm scared that you aren't going to be happy with me.." I smiled to myself.

"Xander, there is no way that I couldn't be happy with you. All this time we've been together, it has made me beyond happy. When I'm with you, I forget about everything bad. I forget about my depression. You're the light at the end of my dark, terrifying tunnel. You make my heart skip a beat when you come around. Screw butterflies, it feels like I have a whole forrest fluttering in my tummy. I've never been this happy. You are the love of my life."

He watched me say every word. Then he pulled me into a tight hug. "I'm never going to leave you, Roxy. Never." he picked me up and spun me around.

"I'm ready to marry you, Xander." his face lit up.

"Me too, Roxy."

We danced for two hours. It was an amazing night. I never wanted it to end. But we had school

"Ugh. These shoes are killing me!" Dixie groaned as we walked up to my front door. "Nobody told you to buy six inch heels sweetheart." Trae said laughing. She pushed him, making him fall on me.

"Ah!" I squealed and before I knew it, we were on the ground and he was on top of me. He just laid there staring at me. Xander came up snatching him off of me and pulled me against him. "Are you okay?" I sighed. "Yeah, whatever." I went inside and stomped up the stairs.

Xander's POV

I watched Roxy as she walked up the stairs. She was pissed. My attention switched to Trae and Dixie who were fighting.

"Did you have to do that Dixie?!" he was yelling.

"I didn't mean to push you on her! I don't see why she's getting so pissed off anyway. It was a damn mistake."

I'd had enough of this. "Dixie it wasn't a mistake. You're always doing shit like that and it seems like the outcome is always Roxy getting hurt. It's been like that since we were kids. She won't say anything to you but God dammit I'm sick of it. She's your SISTER she has never done anything wrong to you. You have no reason to treat her the way you do." I was furious.

Nobody said a word. Trae only stared at Dixie waiting for a reply.

"I think you should leave." I said calmly.

she rolled her eyes and cursed under her breath. She walked out slamming the door.

Trae was rubbing the back of his neck sighing. "Xan, I'm sorry, bro. Really. I don't know what's gotten into her." I nodded and sighed. "Yeah, It's okay. You're welcome to stay. But I'm going to check on Roxy."

"I better take her home. Let me know how she is."

He walked out the door and I headed upstairs..

"Roxy, baby? Are you okay?"

No answer.

"Roxy!"

she walked out the bathroom taking her earrings out. "What?" I pulled her into a tight hug. "Are you hurt?" she shook her head. "Are they gone?" she asked in a soft voice. "Yeah, they're gone." She smiled and started unbuttoning my shirt. I couldn't take my eyes off of hers. I held her face between both of my.hands, and kissed her as hard as she'd allow.

Tonight was going to be amazing.
