Hobi

I wanted to let my anger out on Yoongi since he's the one whom I had picked, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. It was like something stopped me from going into that kitchen where the rest were eating their breakfast and snatching Yoongi away and stealing him for the day. What stopped me, I don't know.

So, I decided to go grocery shopping.

We didn't need much, that was obvious. We had stocked up a while ago, but things go out of date pretty fast so as I walked past Namjoon, I whispered in his ear that I was going shopping and slipped through the secret door and into the hideout.

I walked to the door that leads outside and grabbed the keys that were hanging on a hook on the wall by the door. We only had one vehicle and it was a white van. It fit our scene and situation fairly well.

I opened the door and walked down the long, dark hallway before opening the next door and stepping outside. I breathed in the fresh air, feeling as if I was trapped in the mansion for weeks. I wonder how the boys felt.

I shut the door behind me and walked to the van, not hesitating to stop and stare at the beautiful view in front of me. The sun shining above swimming with white, fluffy clouds in a blue sky. Then the city lay below it, buildings perched high and low, buzzing with residents and a bountiful population, but the chatter and the honks of the taxis never reached my ears since we are so far away.

I glanced at the rolling green hills and the trees surrounding us before climbing into the van and taking off in the direction of the market.

I was headed into town which meant I was bound to get an earful of the news that had spread since we've been gone.

I just didn't expect the news to flash about four recently missing adults that were safely hidden inside my house.

I pulled up to the parking lot and scanned for any empty lots that were close to the entrance of the store and did a mental victory dance when I saw a dark navy blue SUV backing out of the first parking spot near the store's doors.

I made sure I had my wallet and keys before leaving the van and locking it shut while I walked into the market. It was a hot and humid day so once I entered and felt the cool breezes of the fans pinned up to the wall blowing against my face, I sighed in relief. I grabbed a buggy and began my adventures into the great unknown called "Lotte Market".

I saw a few things here and there, picking up fruits and more cheese and eggs. I grabbed a few packs of peach flavored gummies, since they're one of my favorites, and placed it in the cart. Once I checked over everything and made sure I didn't forget something important, I began wheeling the buggy to the cash register. There was a line, but I didn't mind waiting. I had only been in here for at least twenty-five minutes which means I still have all day to waste.

At the cash register, they have a flatscreen hanging on the wall that showed a funny cartoon and I stood there watching it and chuckling softly to myself while making sure to keep up with the slow moving line. As we were moving up, I saw one of the employees walk up to the TV with a remote in his hand and he began switching the channels. I wasn't going to lie, I was kind of disappointed that he was turning the cartoons off.

But that disappointment was soon pushed aside and was replaced by fear and anxiety when I saw a familiar face on the screen pop up. The employee began walking away, leaving the news channel on the screen.

The news anchor was talking at a normal, boring pace as if she could care less about what was going on. I wish everyone felt that way about the story she was informing us about.
