I opened my eyes to the sunlight streaming through the curtains. I whimpered to the fact that I had to get out of bed.
I sat up and stayed in bed for a second to survey my surroundings. The clock read 7:42 am. Wait a minute. Breakfast is at 7:30.

Noooo... I looked at all the beds but they were empty. "Shit," I muttered as I quickly ran into the bathroom. I freshened up and pulled on a sweater because I had no time to change out of my nightgown. My nightgown was a bit transparent so I wouldn't just strut outside without something to cover me up.

I ran down the stairs and bursts the doors open, everyone's eyes laying on me.
Luna smiled ably and I walked up to her with a face I knew was frightening her. "Why'd none of you wake me up?"

Celine sighed. "We know you were going out to see Chance last night."
"How?"
"We wouldn't be asleep if an almost 6 foot teen would be walking out the door. And we promise we won't tell anyone, for now."

"Celine, we're not dating."
"Hah, likely story," Adalwolfa commented.
"Don't be silly," Luna spoke. "She's already dating Zachary."

"Nope nope nope," I repeated, throwing my hands in the air. "I'm not doing this."
I started to make my way towards the exit. "Wait, what about your breakfast?"
"EAT IT!"

I started to walk back upstairs to change into something more appropriate when I bumped into Zachary on my way up. "Hey Zac."
He nodded in response, not looking up from his phone. He was fitted in a button down shirt and dress pants. "Are you going somewhere?"

"Yeah, I was invited to go somewhere with Chance as a third wheel or something, I don't really know." Ho. Ly. Shit. You've got to be kidding me. Well, he can't be worse than Jason.

"When is it?"

"About eight at night but I have places to be by then."
"Hah, see you then, I guess."

I ran off towards my room before he registered what I said. I scanned my card and threw my sweater at the boy sitting on the couch at the far end of the room. "Chance, what's your problem?"

"Life's my problem," he responded with a smile.

"You're weird."

"So are you. But your roommates were so kind to let me in after I told them about our arrangement."
"I said it would be the day after tomorrow."
"Well, I changed my mind. Sooo, do you know what you're gonna wear, cause I do."

"That's really creepy." He walked over to one of the beds and picked up a dress with a black lace top and an ankle length navy blue skirt with an A-line.

"You're a winter so dark colors suit you well."

"How about I don't wear that and just go with a tee and jeans? That sounds like a good idea."

He pouted. "No it doesn't. Do you even know why I'm doing this?"

"...?"

He sighed and palmed his face, "You like Zac and that's a fact, you can't deny it. I'm trying to make you look presentable."
"It's not like I'm going for him, I'm going for you. You wanted to go."
"Because I wanted you to be with Zac."

I pressed my lips into a firm line and averted my eyes. "How many people think I have a crush on him?"
"You guys already have a ship name, Zacabeth."
"No," I groaned.

"Ship, ship, ship!"

"Chance," I spoke annoyed. "This ship that you people have created is literally the Titanic. A lot of people are aboard on it but it's gonna sink!"
