Sebastian starts the game of Never Have I Ever by saying, "Never have I ever..."

"Wait." Asher slices the end of his sentence off as he pulls out his wallet and places a twenty on the table. "I bid twenty that I win."

"No shit?" Jay asks as he rummages in his pocket for his wallet, a smile tugging at his thin lips.

Elizabeth's eyes widen as Jay places a twenty on the table, too, not even hesitating a beat. Sebastian, on the other hand, shakes his head and says, "I don't know about this..."

"Oh, come on. Let's make it interesting." Asher speaks aloud, his pale blue eyes twinkling.

Sebastian pauses, but then he yanks out his wallet and tosses a twenty in the center. The three boys meet each other's gazes challengingly, while Tess, Ruth, and Elizabeth raise their eyebrows and glance at them like they're crazy.

After a few moments, Tess asks them curiously, "What if one of us girls win?"

"You won't." All three boys say at the exact same time with straight faces and narrowing eyes.

"Okay." Tess's voice is quiet when she replies.

"So..." Sebastian starts, his soft brown eyes thoughtful. "Never have I ever cheated on a someone I was dating."

For a second, nobody puts a finger down. Then, Asher awkwardly tucks his first finger down. Next, Jay follows his lead, and then Ruth, who shrugs innocently when Elizabeth eyes her in astonishment.

"We'll go clockwise. Your turn, Elizabeth." Asher explains, his pale eyes focused on her.

"Okay." Elizabeth nods, feeling many pairs of eyes on her. The noises of the lunchroom evolve around them, but all of their attentions are focused on the game. "Never have I ever been to more than one party."

Every single person at the table puts down a finger except Elizabeth, so she grins triumphantly and says, "Okay, you're turn, Jay."

"Never have I ever lived anywhere other than here." Jay tells the group, making Elizabeth and Sebastian fold in a finger.

"My turn." Asher says aloud, cutting off Dae, David, and Wesley, who are having their own conversation and don't seem to mind that they are being excluded from the group's conversation. "Never have I ever ridden in a plane."

"Dang." Sebastian mutters as he puts down his second finger and sighs. "What can I say? I love traveling."

Nobody else moves, so Ruth proceeds to her turn. "Never have I ever kissed a girl's lips."

Asher shakes his head and puts down his third finger, as well as Jay. Sebastian only has two sad fingers pointed as Tess begins her turn. "Never have I ever been out of this country."

Sebastian tucks another finger, only being left with one and a frown. His sigh is priceless and the look of longing he flashes at the money on the table brings a smile to Elizabeth's lips.

"Never have I ever spent the night at the opposite sex's house." Sebastian says aloud. Everyone but him and Elizabeth puts a finger down, and Elizabeth can barely believe her friends.

"Really?" Elizabeth queries as she glances from Tess to Ruth. "You two are unbelievable."

Ruth rolls her eyes while Tess shrugs, and then Elizabeth speaks. "Never have I ever drunk any kind of alcohol."

Asher, Jay, and Sebastian all spit cuss words while they put down their last fingers. The three of them stare at their money, none happy. Asher clenches his jaw, Jay leans back and crosses his arms, and Sebastian folds his hands in front of him on the table while his leg begins shaking impatiently.
