Elizabeth paces back and forth in her room, her nerves singing loudly in her ears. There's no way the Principal could do this to her. Like, what did Elizabeth do to her to make her hate her so badly? Her son is a dirty piece of work she never wants a part of.

Elizabeth continues walking from her window to her door, her thoughts soaring. She has to tell Tess and Ruth about this. They are going to flip! Maybe, somehow, they can help her get out of this situation. She can't ignore the guy; he's the Principal's son. Plus, she could use some help to her classrooms... But not that douche's help. No. Never.

Elizabeth curses under her breath, until finally, Tess and Ruth climb through her bedroom window. She halts almost immediately, noticing right away that both of her friends wear tight, sexy dresses and have makeup coated on their faces. She does a double take, her jaw dropping.

Ruth's dark red hair is curled today, looking badass along with her dark lashes and tight, black dress. It clings to her skinny body perfectly, owning diamonds that cutely wrap around her abdomen. Tess, on the other hand, has her blonde hair in a high ponytail, a few thick strands loose on the sides of her narrow face. Her dark gray eyes are protected by thick eyelashes and decorative gray eyeshadow. Her dress, hugging her curves sexily, is dark gray and is a silky material, shaped like a tight T-shirt at the top, reaching a little past her butt.

"What's the occasion?" Elizabeth questions, breathlessly. She gestures to their clothing as she says, "You two look stunning!"

"Thanks." Ruth flashes a grin, while Tess's mouth opens and her eyebrows rise.

"You mean, you don't remember?! We are going to Asher's party!" Tess's tone is astonished, her gray eyes filled with horror. "What the hell are you wearing?"

Elizabeth frowns and glares down at her pajamas. She wears green, plaid shorts and a matching tank top. Her brown hair is tucked away in a messy bun, strands flying free every which way. On her face, no makeup is present to mask her flaws. Around her light blue eyes, her short eyelashes aren't the least bit attractive.

"I didn't think we were actually going to listen to that jerk..." Elizabeth whispers in confusion, her eyebrows yanked together.

"Of course we are!" Tess exclaims in disbelief. "It's going to be the last party of the summer! It's going to be huge!"

"But I'm not allowed to..." Elizabeth tells them truthfully. "Plus, I wouldn't know anyone. I don't have anything to wear. I wouldn't fit in... I've never been to a party!"

"Ey!" Tess throws up a hand to shut her up. "No buts! We are going." She moves toward Elizabeth's closet, which is standing along the same wall her headboard is leaning against. When she opens the door and steps in, she walks right back out, her face as blank as a slate. "You have no clothes."

Elizabeth sucks in a breath. "What do you mean?"

She rushes over to her closet and peers inside. Her blue eyes survey all her T-shirts, V-necks, jeans, and shorts quickly, and then they meet Tess's dumbfounded gaze. "What do you mean? I have tons of clothes."

Tess glares at her, her gray eyes widening. "No. No, you don't. Where the hell are your dresses?"

"I..." Elizabeth's eyes dart uneasily from Tess to Ruth. "I don't have any..."

"No shit?" Ruth's question slices the air in a rasp. "Wow, chick. We don't have time to buy you one... The party is starting soon."

"I told you, I'm not going." Elizabeth argues, shutting her closet door.
