Kakashi x Oc Book two

Chapter 17

(Time skip to the start of the exams)

I watched as Neji and Naruto started their battle.. I couldn't hear everything being said but I knew Neji was saying things similar to what he said to Hinata during the preliminaries. This thought made me cringe... what had Hiashi done to this boy?...I already know about the mark for the branch family and yes that was enough for one to go somewhat crazy but from what it seems he has dealt with more in his life than just that. I heard about the death of Hizashi but it was very much hushed up. Just as that thought went through my head I heard Neji talking about his father and I listened in.... Well that explains why he turned out like that. I searched for Hiashi and sent him a glare although I doubt he saw it. I was sitting next to Hinata... we had grown fairly close over the amount of time I was back home. She is a sweet young lady and I found her adorable... but about halfway through the fight she started coughing up blood.

"Hey Hinata! Are you okay?" Kiba asked from her other side but she just kept coughing

"Come here, lay your legs over Kiba and your head in my lap" I said helping her get into said position.

"You are still hurt from your fight with Neji...your heart has not entirely healed.." I said while running my hands over her heart. I started healing it and she started to close her eyes

"Hey hey don't go to sleep.. don't you want to know how this match turns out?" I said firmly to her.

"Y-yes" She said opening her eyes more. As I healed her Kiba and I gave her a play by play of what was happening.

"N-naruto won?!" She asked excited but still in her soft voice

"Mhm, and I think he taught Neji a lesson while he was at it maybe... he will be nicer to you too" I said softly to her. I was almost done with what I could heal when her eyes closed and she passed out.

"Is she going to be okay Sayuri sensei??" Kiba asked frantically

"She will be fine she is just in a lot of pain.. I have healed everything that I can she should wake up in about an hour." I explained moving her so she was sitting up in the chair again

"At least she got to hear about Naruto's fight" Kiba said looking at Hinata

"Yeah I think she would feel bad if she missed it" I said looking at her too.. she looked so peaceful..

"Next up is Sasuke and Gaara" I muttered quietly

"Where are they?" Kiba asked

"That...is a very good question" I said closing my eyes and sensing the area for them...nothing...

They obviously ended up skipping Gaara and Sasuke and the other matches happened, or should I say match because Kankuro forfeited. Now was the last chance for Kakashi to show up...My fists were clenched in anger

"I know it's that stupid silver haired bakas fault that he is late" I said angrily

"Calm down Sayuri Sensei" Kiba said warily as my hair started to rise up then...Kakashi and Sasuke appeared in a swoosh of leaves, back to back with their arms crossed. I could see the smug look on his face and my chakra flared around . I could see Kakashi immediately sense me and turn to meet my gaze..his visible eye immediately widdened

"Show off" I muttered and stood up to walk behind the back row to wait for Kakashi to come up here. I heard his footsteps coming lazily up the stairs and I

"S-sayuri? Love?" I heard him gulp and I walked over to him

"You absolute idiot Kakashi, didn't you tell me that your friend was late to the Chunin exams almost getting you guys disqualified yet you make Sasuke late by being your usual lazy ass self and taking your marry ass time. You missed Naruto's match!! he won in a very clever way that you would have been impressed with." I hissed gritting my teeth so that I didn't shout as he backed up into the wall
