Chapter Twelve

Dares

We're chilling and chatting at JC's newly opened coffee shop. I mean, his fam owns it but siya ang nag-aasikaso kasi malapit lang ito sa University. Plus, the drinks are free even though we can pay for it but JC insisted kasi newly open lang ang shop.

It's our break. Our next class is at one-thirty. Nag-chikahan at nag-tawanan lang kami dahil sa mga jokes ni Ivan but in between his jokes, sinisingit niya ako at si Travis. Kaya ayon, pinag-usapan na naman ng grupo iyong post ni Travis last night.

"So ano na? Was that an engagement party last night ha?" Ivan raised his eyebrows twice and smirked. "Ano ba naman iyan! Hindi kami invited. Hindi talaga ako pupunta sa kasal niyo"

He acted like he was sad and he even pouted his lips. Agad naman siyang binatukan ni Travis.

"Gago!"

"Damn it! Ang lakas naman n'on captain!" sigaw ni Ivan.

The group laughed at him pero nakisali na rin sila sa panunukso. Nico who's the silent type among the guys ay tumawa na rin ng malakas at sumali sa panunukso. Umiling ako but Travis smiled. He kinda like it huh? He likes it when our friends teases us. Hindi pa nila alam that we're having this fake relationship in front of our parents.

"It was just a dinner, okay? My Dad and Tito Zach were talking about business" I said and shrugged my shoulders.

Travis pressed his lips into a thin line. Umubo naman si JC and Nico pretended that he was busy with his phone. While Ivan gave me a meaningful look. As in, iyong obvious talaga.

Yna caught our attention when she brought up the topic about the foam party. Yeah, I almost forgot. Mag-fofoam party pala ang squad mamaya but I don't know why I don't feel like going. It's gonna be my first time na tinatanggihan ko ang mga ganito.

"So I got the VIP tickets. Actually the VIPs are reserved for us and our other friends, but we still need these tickets"

She distributed the tickets to us. When she handed my ticket she stopped and looked at me curiously.

"My, my, my... you don't look excited, queen?" she arched her eyebrow.

"What? It's just a foam party, right?"

"Well.. there's gonna be international DJ's, celebrities and of course, hot guys, Ellie! Hot guys!" she fan herself.

Ang hyper talaga nito. She stopped and pretended to gasp and covered her mouth.

"Woops, you have Papa Travis na pala" then she giggled. Isa pa 'to. She's like the girl version of Ivan.

Umiling nalang ako sa kanya at ininom iyong hot tea ko. Travis suddenly moved closer and whispered.

"Are you coming tonight?" I glanced at his direction.

"Yeah, I'll go" then I leaned my back on my chair.

"Really?"

"Yes, Travis"

"Like sure?"

"Oo nga. Kulit mo" siningkitan ko siya ng mata. Kulit rin nito eh. Paulit-ulit talaga.

"So, I'll pick you up later?"

Oh, I wasn't expecting that. I thought I'll be going alone since I have my car back or I'll be going with Alexis but we haven't planned it yet, but then Alexis heard our conversation.

"Yes! Yes! It's okay Travis. You can pick her up"

She beamed at us. I gave him the what the heck look. I know what she's trying to do. She doesn't even know that we have this fake relationship! Na hindi pa sinasabi ni Travis na break na kami. My God!
