Monday came. Nagsimula na iyong first class namin. As usual, the squad's there except nila JC and Tasha, nasa ibang class, and... Travis. Travis is absent. He is nowhere to be found.
I didn't asked kung bakit absent si Travis. It was Ivan who told me that Travis wasn't feeling well and I'm pretty sure he's not telling the truth. I know he's avoiding me. After the incident sa foam party, hindi na siya nagparamdam sa akin.
He sents me good morning messages every single day, pero kahapon at ngayon, wala akong natanggap. I don't know if I'm overthinking or what, my friends are quite right now. Maybe because hindi kami completo or maybe this is about the issue between me and Travis.
Sinilip ko sina Ivan at Nico sa likod. Nico's busy with his phone while Ivan's sleeping. I glanced at Yna, busy rin siya sa kanyang phone. Alexis caught me. She held my hand and slowly rubbed it. Binigyan ko lang siya ng tipid na ngiti. Good thing that Alexis is always there for me.
Yesterday, we talked about what happened last Saturday. I told her about our fake relationship with Travis and how I managed to keep it a secret to our fam. I also told her that I don't have feelings for him anymore. And thank God for Alexis! Naiintindihan niya naman ako. She understood my situation. That's why she will always be my best friend.
Nagsimula na iyong first class namin. Our teacher reminded us about the upcoming College days. Siyempre, naalala ko naman iyong booth nami. Which reminded me, na seat mate ko nga pala si Kiel sa class na 'to!
I totally forgot that Kiel's my seat mate. I glanced at my left side. Hindi ko man lang siya na pansin kanina. My mind's preoccupied with so many things. Di pa ready for school!
Kiel's just busy listening to the teacher and jotting down notes. When suddenly, napatingin na rin siya sa akin. Siguro na pansin niya na kanina pa ako nakatingin sa kanya. We're now looking at each other.
"Hi" I greeted first and gave him a small smile.
He blinked his eyes na parang gulat. Bakit ang palaging unang reaksyon niya ay gulat?
He wanted to say something pero hindi niya tinuloy.
Instead of greeting me back, tumango lang siya sa akin and went back to writing. Siningkitan ko siya ng mata.
Ang weird? Why is he also treating me like this? Bakit ngayon lang din ako concern? Ba't affected ako?
Naalala ko na naman iyong last conversation namin ni Kiel. It was also last Saturday when the stupid side of me invited him to that foam party but he ended up telling me about friends don't play with each others feelings.
What does he mean by that? Minsan confusing rin 'to si Kiel. I wanted to ask him about what he said last Saturday kaya tinawag ko siya.
"Psst..." I tried to lowered down my voice kasi nag-didiscuss na iyong teacher namin.
"Psst, hey" hindi pa rin siya tumitingin.
I tried for the third time pero hindi pa rin niya ako naririnig at dahil naiinip na ako, I poked his arm.
"Hey!" nagulat siya sa ginawa ko. His forehead creased.
"About last Saturday, what do you mean-"
I wasn't able to finish my question when suddenly our teacher called my attention. Muntik na nga akong tumalon sa armchair ko dahil sa bigla niyang pagsigaw.
