Chapter Seventeen

Blackmail

Dahil sa inasal ni Kiel. Mas lalo ko siyang kukulitin. Why would he just leave me there alone sa library? Ba't ang hilig niyang mang-iwan at hindi sumasagot. He left me without any answer. Napangisi ako sa inisip ko. Well Kiel, you can't stop me from bugging you.

Our class started. Kiel is not in my first class, sa next class ko pa. I tried to listen to the teacher even though I'm not interested on what he was discussing. The time was running slow. Hanggang sa natapos na rin.

I hurriedly got my bag at tumayo na. I can't wait for the next class. Nandoon si Kiel and can't wait to tease him. I was about to leave the classroom nang biglang nagsalita si Alexis.

"Are you in a hurry?" she said while raising her right eyebrow.

I tried to calm myself. Pretending na hindi ako nagmamadali para sa next class.

"Ah, hindi naman"

Then she clung into my right arm and stared at me. She even pouted. Clingy talaga ng bestfriend ko.

"Sige na. Share mo na sa akin ba" she whispered. She even pulled my uniform.

"The what?" I asked.

"I know may tinatago ka" sabi niya habang naka-pout pa rin.

"Wala nga"

She poked the sides of my tummy. She keeps on asking and asking hanggang sa nakalabas na kami sa aming classroom. Nasa likod lang kami ng mga kaibigan namin. Habang nag-lalakad, namimilit pa rin siya. I stopped walking and faced her. I sighed bago ako nagsalita.

"I'll tell you soon"

"Ha? Why soon? Why not now?" she pouted and gave me a sad face, para talaga 'tong bata si Alexis.

"Soon" I just smiled at her at linagpasan na siya.

I went inside the classroom at hinanap agad si Kiel. My eyes immediately found Kiel. He's sitting near the teacher's table reading a book, again? Hay Kiel, and his friends.

Our chairs are at the far end. Naunang umupo ang mga kaibigan ko. They were busy talking kaya hindi nila napansin na umalis ako.

I went to Kiel. He didn't noticed my presence. No one's sitting on his left so I assumed wala pa iyong nakaupo ron. I sat beside him and faced him. Napansin na niya ako. Finally! He looked at me. I gave him a smile and waved.

"Hello, Mr. President!" I wiggled my eyebrows. "What time nga ulit tayo mag-kikita later?" I asked.

"H-ha?"

"The meeting?"

Kahit alam ko naman iyong time. I just want to ask again para maka-usap ko siya. Napakurap siya.

"Ah, oo nga pala. Five-thirty" iyon lang ang sabi niya.

May sasabihin pa sana ako pero pumasok na iyong professor namin. I sighed and rolled my eyes. Hay nako, I stood up. Kiel looked at me.

"Bye, see you later" I smiled and tapped his shoulder.

Good thing, hindi na pansin ng mga friends ko na galing ako kay Kiel. They might think something else. I don't want to let them know that I have a crush on him, kay Alexis ko lang sasabihin. Soon?
