Chapter 14: Taken

Well, after the breakdown with Allie, I decided I couldn't see her like that anymore.

"Come, on, let's go" I said

"Why?" She said, she was drying her tears.

"I hate seeing you like this. It- messes me up" I say.

"Oh, uh- ok" she said.

She texted her mom that she was going out.

"So where are we gonna go?" She asks.

"Well I don't quite know yet." I said hailing a cab.

"Daddy Direction. Yep" she said.

"What? Not everyone can be prepared for everything!" I said

"Whatever" she said as we hopped In

"Where to?" said the driver

"Got any cafes around?" I asked. I could really go for some pancakes right now.

"Yes, sir. Just a bit away" he said.

I sat there, basically cradling Allie. I almost forgot about the paparazzi. As soon as we stopped, all I saw was bright flashes of lights.

"Shit" I mumbled. This will look so bad. I don't know if the paps caught Niall's breakup scene thing, but I hope they did.

I can imagine it now : Look at this! Allie is now dating Liam Payne? But she is dating Niall? I smell a cheatah.

Imagine all the hate she will get.

I opened the door and stormed into the cage, with Allie in front of me.

I locked the door shut.

"Letting all my customers escape, eh?" said Andy working there.

"Please! Don't open it!" I yelled a bit.

"Don't worry, Liam. I won't." She said

She was about 50ish.

"Love, you don't remember?" She said.

"Excuse me?" I said

"You used to sing here, all the time. When you were maybe 13 or 14. You would eat all my chocolate chip pancakes!" She said laughing.

"Oh my god!" it all came back to me. I remember I loved this place when I was younger. The singing, food, people.

She sat both of us down at a table for 2 farthest away from the paps.

"What can I get ya?" She said.

"Chocolate pancakes!" I said

"And you hun?" She asked Allie.

"I will have that too" she smiled.

"Ok, be right back, loves." she said, walking away.

I smiled at Allie, who smiled at me.

"What?" She said

"Your eyes, they are so beautiful" I regret saying.

"Your eyes are pretty too" she said.

We waited for our pancakes and kept talking, even though it was awkward.

"Why are there 5 arrows on your arm as a tattoo?" She asked.

"Well, there are five guys in one direction, right" she nodded. "So there are 5 to point the same direction, means we will always be together as bandmates and best friends." I explained.

"Oh, ok.That's meaningful" she responded.

The waitress came back with our pancakes.

She put forks, knives and SPOONS!! on our table.

I frantically picked it up and threw it on the ground.

"What the hell, Liam" Allie whisper-yelled.

"Spoons scare me." I said

"Uhm ok. Any other things to say?" She asked.

"Well, yes. I haven't dated much, but when I did, they weren't you. I wish I wasn't stupid. I wish you would love me" I halted. "I wish I didn't say that" I say awkwardly.

"Aww. Liam. You are so sweet. I know. It's weird. But, when I am with you, you really care and you are so nice. You know how to treat a girl. I wish I could meet a guy like you one day".she said.

"Well, your in luck!" I said.

She looked at me confused.

"Would you like to go on a date with me, Miss Allie?" I asked.

"Uh-uh um yes!" she said.

"But please, can we take it slow. I don't want to kiss you. At least not yet" she said.

I smiled "That would be manageable" I said.

We finished eating and stood up.

"Is there a back exit?" I asked.

"Yes. And thanks Liam. You are so sweet. Please come back whenever you can!" she said hugging me.

"Will do!" I said as I walked out the back with Allie.

~~~ In the plane~~~

That praying played off. Alyssa is ok, and she is better.

We are going back to Mullingar. I can't wait.

We are so happy together.

On the plane, Allie fell asleep on me. That's not new at all. Lol.

She is cute when she sleeps.

I suddenly remember Niall.

Sh!t fµçk! Why??

Hopefully Niall doesn't hate me. He is so funny. I feel really bad about it not working out between them. But then again I don't, because this happened.

The plane ride was so long.

Allie's Point Of View

I woke up to someone shaking me. "Hey, hey, Allie, we just landed, come on!" It was Liam.

"Hello" I smiled

We got off the plane and got a taxi to the guy's flat. They were having a welcome back party.

I would hate to be Niall. Life would suck. I honestly don't care though. He is in the past, but whatever. I will still have to face him every time I'm with Liam.

When we got there, Liam and I were holding hands as we walked inside.

"Ooh hey Li- Uhm, Liam what are you doing to Allie's hand?" Louis asked.

"Holding its idiot" Liam said.

"Niall will be mad" he smirked

"I don't care. I hope he is. That- that.." I was going to describe a word but then Niall came in.

"LIAM!" he yelled.

"Yes?" Liam said

"Whats going on?" he asked, looking at our hands.

"We are going out" I snapped.

"Liam! Betrayer!" He yelled. He was super upset. By the look of his clothes, hair, eyes and face, we wasn't over me.

"Did you tell her I still love her?" he said.

"What".I said

"Liam!" he yelled again.

"What?" Liam was really annoyed. I am too. Just accept the God damn facts.

"Can I speak to Allie." Everyone sat down "Alone"

Everyone left.

"Allie, I am so sorry for being an idiot at the club. I was so drunk and I didn't know what I was doing!"

"Hush up, Horan" I snapped "You had your chance. You promised, you told me you love me, I believed you. I can't believe I did. I dont want to talk to you about the topic. We are still friends, I am just disappointed in you." I said

"It's cliche, but you only want me because I'm taken. By Liam" I said walking out of the room, leaving him with tears in my eyes.
