FIFTEEN BOBCAT
REMUSKNEWTHATthe the full moon would rise that night. He had woken up that morning, his bones feeling as if they could expand at any moment.
As nausea arose within the pit of his stomach, he rolled over in his bed, exhaling as the sun shined across his face.
"Wakey wakey, Moony."
He opened his eyes, staring directly at a smiling Sirius.
"Now now, despite the fact that tonight is the full moon, just remember that we have the potion up to where you're lunatic behind can't lose it again."
"I'm telling you, Padfoot." Remus snapped, sliding out of the bed and searching for his clothes. "I had that on me all day — how likely is it for me to lose something that important to me?"
Sirius walked towards the door, closing it shut.
"What are you trying to tell me, Moony?"
"I believe someone stole in intentionally." Remus muttered.
The boy scoffed. "Blimey — who would've stolen a potion of wolfesbane? Nobody but us knows you're. . . You know."
"I don't know, all right?" He asked. "Just drop it."
"Considered it dropped, mate." Sirius said, exiting the room.
Remus sighed, tempted to crawl back into bed and skipping class. But he pulled his robes on, exiting the dormitory and down to breakfast.
Aurora had sat beside Lily, finishing up the last bit of homework she had.
"I truly wonder how you all managed to pass sixth year."
Lily dug underneath the table. "Wait til your last year."
Aurora's eyes widened as Lily dropped seven different books, each probably five pounds each.
"Or I could flunk," Aurora said. "Never too late to —"
"You're not leaving me!" Lily argued.
Aurora laughed. "Me? Leaving you? All of you are leaving me!"
There were only four months of school left, and Lily, along with the Marauders, were all graduating from Hogwarts this year. Meanwhile, Aurora still had another year.
