TWENTY A BIG DECISION
WHEN THEY RETURNED to Hogwarts, Remus had stayed silent for most of the ride. He began to think of his future, and what would happen in it.
Aurora had slept most of the way, due to staying up the whole night before to keep her Animagus form. She wasn't strong enough to keep it while sleeping, and she wasn't taking the risk of startling him.
Back at the castle, Remus had informed Sirius, James and Peter that he needed to speak to them privately.
Aurora met up with Lily, beginning to explain to her the odd events that had happened recently.
"I have a bad feeling," Aurora said. "Lily, I believe I've messed up."
Lily sat on her bed. "What are you talking about?"
Aurora swallowed, turning and looking in the mirror.
Remus sat beside James, shaking his head.
"I'm not even sure she knows herself," Remus said. "I could've heard wrong."
"That's not likely." Sirius said. "Especially if —"
Remus glared at him, and Sirius sighed.
"He's right, Moony." James said. "I mean, if you didn't take precaution, there is a chance."
Remus stood to his feet. "I need to talk to her."
Lily watched as Aurora dug through her bag that she had taken to her parents, pulling out a small box.
"My mum gave me these," she said. "Just in case."
She walked out of the room, leaving Lily to bite her lip nervously.
When Aurora came back, she set the box down.
"Now we wait."
After a few minutes, Aurora inhaled.
"Does feeling like you aren't able to breathe mean you're having a panic attack?" She asked. "Because I believe I'm having a panic attack."
"Calm down," Lily said, grabbing her shoulders. Aurora slowed her breathing, closing her eyes.
"I don't know what to do."
"We're going to figure it out," she promised.
A knock came to the door, and the girls turned their heads to see Remus standing in the doorway.
