HOGSMEADE

RAIN POURED HARSHLY for days straight, not giving any of the students a chance to study outdoors.

Aurora sat inside of the common room half of the time, her back pressed to the wall as she read. Her soaked shoes were in front of the fire, drying.

One day, the clouds were so dark and thick, it was believed it could be evening out. Thunder rumbled through the sky like multiple people were stomping on crackling wood, and the lightning seemed to be able to electrocute anyone indoors.

Aurora lay with her head on Sirius's calfs, studying within her book. She was about to flip the page when Sirius stood to his feet, allowing her head to fall.

"Ow!" She said aloud, grimacing.

"Oh, you can cuddle your boyfriend on your own time." He said. "I have plans."

Aurora stood, blocking the door. "Plans, huh?"

"Yes, plans."

She smirked.

Sirius — who huffed angrily, jabbed a finger at her. "Oh, don't you start that again!"

"Is snogging Ella Howard your plan?"

His eyes grew wide. "No —!"

Aurora went to grab the journal in his hands, but he twisted his arm away from her hand.

"Stop!" He said, trying to fight the girl.

Aurora managed to grab the journal, making a break for it. She got to the staircase of the girls' dormitory, only to dodge Sirius again.

"Miss Ella Howard is as beautiful as a sun set. She shines different colors within her personality, and my world is dark without her."

Aurora screamed as Sirius grabbed her ankle, pulling her down the staircase on her behind. She tried to break free as he threw her over his shoulder, the two stopping as the door opened.

Remus, Peter and James stood — each of them wearing similar expressions.

"Why are you carrying my girlfriend over your shoulder?" Remus asked.

Aurora tried to squirm.

"She stole my journal." Sirius said, still trying to pry the thing out of her hand
