"Ew!" I wigged out as I felt an insect brush against my face. I hopped on to the couch in the Gryffindor common room , and the minute Alice and Lilly figured out there was a bug, they joined me on said couch. We all stood and huddled together trying different tactics to make it go away. We were planning on relaxing today and we were waiting for Dani to show up , but now we had bigger fish to fry.Nothing against Hufflepuffs but I'm one so I can say this. I get why I'm scared and cowering away but aren't Alice and Lilly supposed to be brave?
"We all just have to stand still then it might just fly into the boys' dorms." Alice said trying to remain calm.
"What is going on?" Remus asked as him, Sirius and James walked into the room confused about all of the screaming.
"There is a bug this big," I spread my arms out as wide as they could go to show the size of the creature with wings I started ,"And we can't find it so we are staying like this until it is captured."
"Is it really this big?" Remus questioned putting the same distance between his two hands as I did before.
"Yes!" Lilly yelled out with panic in her voice.
Right then Dani walked in confused about the situation.
"Bug?" she asked a tired look on her face.
Everyone in the room nodded. Dani picked a book off the shelf and whispered "Sorry" to it. She found the bug and murdered it with the book.
We all got back on the ground and circled around the corpse.
"Is it dead?" I asked hoping the answer would be no. All I wanted was for it to be captured.
"Yeah ," James started ,"It's dead.
"Told you it wasn't that big." Remus said.
"You never said that." I said trying to start a battle I can't win.
"Well I thought it." Remus corrected.
"Yeah, I know."
Everyone looked at me weird except for Dani hoping she would be able to tell them about my secret.
"Do you wanna say something?" Sirius asked Dani.
"I'll tell you later."
