I sat down next to Dani who was scribbling things down in her notebook.

"No don't buy I'm anything fancy that'll give it away." I said obviously startling her because she would've slapped me if I didn't dodge it.

"Give wha-what aw-away?" She lied. "Ha! Ha! Ha!" She let out an obnoxious laugh and started to stroke her hair.

"Okay first of all, you are a terrible liar. Second of all, I can read minds and I know your family is wealthy so don't try to lie."

"I thought you said you were going to stop doing that." She turned back to her notebook.

"Lies," I started, "All lies. See the difference between a good liar and a bad liar. You should just make him food. He would probably propose if you did. and I should know because I've know him since I was ten."

"Really?" She asked a little shocked.

I nodded. "Since I moved in with my mom"

"What do you mean since you moved in with your mom?" Oh no she was getting suspicious.

"Long story for another time."

"Whatever" She said going back to her list.

"What's the use of continuing the list if you're just going to make him food?"

"How do you know that I'm going to make him food?"

"Maybe it is because A, I'm a Legilimens, and B, I'm a genius with a capital J"  

"Yep a genius." She said trying to hold in a laugh.

"So what are you gonna be for Halloween?"

"You already asked me."

"Well I just want to know."

"I'm going to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. It's a muggle movie."

"I know what the wizard of oz is Dani, I'm halfblood remember?"

"Right" She said correcting herself. "What are you gonna be ?"

"Well normally I dress up as a cat every year but I'm getting tired of that so i'm going to try to find something new."

"A cat, really?"

"Alice , Lilly and I normally dress up together but they are going off and doing their own thing this year."

"Oh. So about the long story-"

"I told you that is for another time"

"What happened to no secrets" She whined wanting to know what was going on.

"It's not asecret because I will tell you at some point."

"No you won't" Dani said bitterly.

"Yeah, you're right." And with that I walked off . "Make him food!" I yelled back to the stressed Dani.
