Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I'm bored and need a filler chapter so how about a good ole day in Masie's first year.

Masie's point of view

Mother had been kind enough to take Nathan and I to platform nine and three quarters but she didn't stay for long. Nathan grabbed my hand and rushed me to the train.

"C'mon Masie , you're going to love Hogwarts so much." My brother claimed as we stepped into the train.

"I feel guilty Nathan." I said.

"Why?"

"Penelope is going to be all by herself at home."

"Well she said she would be fine." He argued back I knew by reading his thoughts that he was trying to make me feel better. "Penelope is stronger than us, I promise , she will be okay." And with that, I regrettably started to walk through the train with Nathan to find a compartment. "Are you planning on telling anyone?" He asked.

"Not really."

"Okay."

We continued to walk until Nathan saw his friends waiting for him in a compartment. I sat with them and read each and every one of their thoughts. None were very interesting but I still talked to them and when I didn't I just looked out f the window and swayed my feet back and forth. The I saw a face pass by that I had become very familiar with over the past year so ,I stepped out of the compartment.

"Sirius!" I yelled through my cupped hands.

Sirius Black and another dark haired boy turned around. I skipped over to them glad that someone I knew ,other than my brother , was here as well.

"Hi Masie!" Sirius beamed.

"Who's this?" I asked gesturing toward the other boy whom I have already read. It was easy to read his mind because of how simple his thoughts were.

"James , this is Masie." He introduced us and I stuck out my hand.

"Masie, Masie Rosier." Now his mind was racing with thoughts , but of course the first question was:

"What is wrong with your voice?"

"I truly don't know James Potter." That was always my favorite trick was to 'guess' peoples' last names.

"How did you know that?" James asked now in shock.

"It's just something she does," Sirius started, "Point to anyone and she can tell you about them."

James was now in deep thought until he pointed to a red headed girl. I nodded, read her mind ,then reported.

"Lily Evans, same year as us , muggleborn."

"No way," James scoffed," Excuse me!" He waved for the girl to come towards us , whish she did, "What's your name?"

"Lily ," Lily stuck her hand out ,"Lilly Evans."

James was in shock but continued out a conversation with her.

"Is this your first year?" He asked.

"It is , I'm just a tad nervous though due to the fact that I wasn't really brought up in the wizarding world." She got distracted when another girl with short hair waved her over to their compartment.

"Well," James started, "Nice to meet you Masie."

We could not find any empty compartments so we sat in one with two other boys already in it.

I sat down next to a caramel haired boy that was covering himself with his cloak. Sirius sat beside me and James sat next to another boy who was studying a chocolate frog card.

"Is he asleep?" James asked.

I glanced toward the covered boy, and read his thoughts. "No. He's just pretending to be so that we will leave him alone."

"Well," the boy next to me uncovered himself, "When you say it like that, I sound like a bad person." He marked his book and placed out his hand. "R-"

"Remus Lupin, I know," I shook the boy's hand and noticed the scars that covered his face, most likely wounds from the full moons.

"How did you know that?" Remus asked.

"I just do." I stated calmly.

TIME SKIP TO THE SORTING

It was my turn to be sorted and to be honest, I didn't really mind what house I was sorted into. I mean , I guess it would be nice to be in Gryffindor with my brother and all of his friends but , I couldn't care less.

well, well, well the sorting hat thought Masie Rosier you know you're entire mother's side of the family was in slytherin, but that's not for you. You could go into Gryffindor but you are not brave just , not smart enough to be frightened. Maybe hufflepuff, loyal , you seem like the type of person that could wait to watch grass grow and, hard working. "HUFFLEPUFF!" the hat announced.

Cheers could be heard from the table decorated in yellow and black. I smiled as I skipped over to the loud table and turned to wave to my friends sitting at the Gryffindor one.

None of them seemed very please that I was on the opposite side of the Great hall , especially Sirius , he was pis-
