Audiplimacity

It was James' turn to help Dani find her thing and it was going perfect so far. Well, not for James, he was trying to ide his obvious pain after Dani flew straight into him with a broom. It was perfect for everyone else though because we got to have a good laugh. But, Sirius and I were on the ground laughing so hard while Dani was trying to argue that she wasn't pure so I stepped in.

"Please, Dani, You didn't even realize that Snape was flirting with you until I told you. You thought he wanted to be friends." I said in between giggles. I got some confused looks from everyone around me and an embarrassed Dani. "You guys didn't Know?"

"I guess not." Dani replied.

"We probably shouldn't have brought that up"

"Probably"

After all of THAT , we were on our way to dinner. We sat down and James was going on and on about how terrible the Slytherin quidditch team was.

"I can't believe they had the audacity to cheat last year." James complained.

I leaned over towards Remus, "What's that mean?" I asked and lucked at him very confused as to why he was laughing, Oh right apparently I was stupid , almost forgot. "What , I really don't know." I  defended myself.

"It means they have the nerve." Remus whispered back.

"That's totally a made up word." I said forgetting to whisper.

"What's a made up word?" Lilly asked.

"Audi...audile..um....audiplimacity or whatever James said." I answered.

"Audacity." Remus corrected me.

Everyone went "Oh" then started to laugh.

"What is so funny?" I crossed my arms.

"What is in the water in the Hufflepuff common room?" Dani asked laughing her head off.

"How am I supposed to know?" We went on and on about it the next ten minutes, Me saying Audiplimacity, Remus making up a word to replace it , everyone laughing , and Dani trying to convince me that Audiplimacity is a word. Finally, I changed the conversation, "So, Halloween is coming up," I started ,"What are you guys going as?"

Everyone looked around waiting for someone to answer, ten James piped up.

"I'm going as Marilyn Monroe." He said in is best American accent , Which may I add, I found very offensive.

"Dani, maybe sewing costumes could be your thing." I said proud of the idea.

"Yeah maybe." She said finishing off a bite of chicken. "Or maybe, being clumsy can be my thing."
