Moody boys and pink haired girls

I woke up on October 31 full of energy. I loved birthdays. I threw on some clothes and woke up Judy.

"Judy," I whispered ,"Judy wake up it's Halloween."

"I know ." She groaned pointing to the countdown that one of our roommates made.

"Oh, right."

I walked to the great hall and went over to the ravenclaw table.

"Hey ." I said to Penelope.

"Hi. Happy birthday ," She turned to look at me ,"Ok bye."

"You make me proud Penelope." I remarked making her roll her eyes.

I skipped over to the Gryffindor table and saw Dani smiling like a crazy person.

"Happy birthday!" She exclaimed.

"I think you're more excited about my birthday more than I am." 

"Yeah probably." Dani said.

Then a letter dropped in front of me. I looked down at it and immediately knew who it was from. The envelope was covered in colors and crayons with a puppy stamp in the corner. The only part that didn't have any color on it was a small square that had the address on it. I opened the envelope carefully and pulled out the letter.

who's it from Remus thought.

"It's from my friend Bambi."

"You've got to stop doing that." Remus joked.

"Who's Bambi?" Dani asked.

"Please don't get her starte-" Sirius started before I interrupted him.

"Bambi has been my friend since FOREVER. We met when we were five at gymnastics practice."

"What's gymnastics?" Dani was confused. The only sport they had in the wizarding world was quidditch.

"All you do is like flips pretty much." I didn't really know how to explain it to her .

"Oh Ok.",

I looked back at the letter and read it.

Dear Masie,

I'm so ready for you to come back home. I know it's only been like two months , but the twins are already driving me crazy. And I feel so weird writing letters instead of talking to you on the phone , like what are we in the prehistoric ages? Anyway , happy birthday! It totally sucks that I can't be there for it. Anyway this summer I'm going to have to teach you the back layout , it's like super hard the first couple of times that you do it but after a few days you'll totally get it down.  And , I'm starting out the school year really well with Bs instead of Cs. Well in a few classes , but I'm getting low Bs in gym. Okay Happy birthday and Merry Halloween.

I could already tell this was going to be a good birthday.

"Are you reading over my shoulder?" I  turned to Dani.

"Yes." She said not even trying to hide it. "Yeah , you can read minds so there is no use in lying to you."

"Here, " I handed her the letter ,"You can just read it."

"Oh I already did."

"Well okay then."

TIME SKIP TO NIGHT

"Go put on your Halloween costume." It was Sirius who was coming from behind me.

"Why?" I asked playing stupid(Which I was very good at.)

"Halloween party." Lies.

"Okay , give me five minutes and I'll be ready."

"That's what they all say." He remarked.

I ran into the common room and made a B line to the dorms. I rushed into my dress , threw the ears onto my head and slipped into some heels. 

"Oh , you actually meant five minutes?" He asked adjusting his fake vampire teeth.

"Yep."

Sirius looked at me trying to figure out what I was. "It was last minute." I explained

"Oh , ok."

We walked towards the Gryffindor common room. And let me just say I felt very awkward walking into a pitch black room. We heard a few murmurs then the lights flicked on and everyone jumped out of hiding yelling out "Surprise!"

"Oh my gosh! Thanks everybody." Nailed it.

"What are you?" Dani asked referencing to my last minute costume.

I pointed to my ears and answered ,"I'm a mouse , duh."

"Last minute?" Dani questioned.

"Yep."

The party started off as a gathering with just my family and closer friends. Then the real fun began when people we didn't even know were started showing up and it became a full on party. 

3RD PERSON POINT OF VEIW

Masie had became a little tipsy throughout the party but Sirius Black , along with most people there , was completely drunk. Even Remus had a drink. Then one pink haired girl that Masie recognized from her own house as Nymphadora Tonks. Masie instantly walked towards Remus who was sitting on the sofa talking to someone before they were interrupted by a certain blonde.

"Remus." The girl pestered.

"What?"

"See that girl over there?" Masie asked pointing to Tonks.

"Um , Tonks?"  The boy asked unsure of where this conversation was going.

"Yeah her." Masie thought this plan was brilliant, but little did she know that a very agitated Dani completely understood where the conversation was heading , was standing a little bit away from the sofa.

"What about her?" Remus was catching on. He truly didn't want his crush setting him up on a date.

"She totally likes you." The blonde was getting excited.

"No , I don't think so."

"Well I do. Remember I an re-" Masie was interrupted by one of her best friends who didn't want this conversation to go any further.

"Masie can I talk to you," Dani paused tilting her head towards the corner ,"Alone."

"Yeah sure." The two girls walked further from the sofa to gain some privacy.

"Masie , what are you doing?" Dani scolded.

"Setting Remus up with Tonks , I think they'd be cute together and he always seems a little moody." Masie whispered the last part as if nobody had known about the moody boy.

"But he likes you." Dani was loosing hope . How oblivious could this girl be.

"Dani, if he liked me , he would've said so."

"Uhg, you're so difficult."
