It was the Winter Ball. The dress I was wearing was made by Dani. It was golden and lacey. I haven't been thinking straight since the incident with Judy ,who wasn't at the event.
"You look amazing." Remus kissed my hand and lead us towards the dance floor.
"Thanks." My mind was still on Judy.
"Are you okay?" he question snapped me back to reality. What felt like seconds had been minutes and I didn't even realize that we were dancing.
"Hm? Oh, um ...yeah."
"Okay..."
TIME SKIP
My head was resting on his shoulder as we laughed at a terrible joke told by Sirius.
"I'm going to stay at Dani's house this Christmas, she said she'd invited you." I said.
"Yeah, she did."
"Do you know if you're going?"
"Sirius and I are coming with Dani to help break you three out."
"Wow."
"What?"
"Last time I celebrated Christmas, I was ten."
"Wait really?"
"Yeah."
Remus held me closer the rest of the night while we danced to whatever song was being played.
