"so...tell me about yourself more?" josh asks me as we drove around town to get a snack as we were freaking starving. "well...I'm originally from utah, I'm 14, I really like the subject English and my favourite colour is blue" I say shyly. "When's your birthday?" He asks me, as we went round a corner. "July 20th" I say quietly. "Not long!" He says excitingly. "Yeah" I mumble looking on the window. "What's up?" He asks me. "I don't really look forward to my birthday" I shrug. "If you don't mind me asking, why?" He asks. "I don't know" I say honestly. "So no party?" He asks. "Please?" I suggest. "Whatever makes you happy" he shrugs. i smiled. "why are you smiling?" he smiled. "not reason" i giggled. then i looked down at my hands and bit my lip.

We arrived at Subway and each got a sandwich and a drink. I was a bit of a messy eater and josh laughed at me while I ate but I didn't mind. I knew I looked like a weirdo which bummed me but he took photos of me and said I was adorable which made me glow with pride.

But after we finished we threw our trash away and got back in the car and headed to his house. He had a pretty house which wasn't too big or too small. But he let me choose a room and I chose a medium sized one which was next door to his. There was a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, a vanity and a bed side table. There were simple white curtains and white bedding.

"Tomorrow we can go shopping and get you some bedding and stuff that you'll like. But you unpack while I sign some things off for you" he says to me. I nodded and he left the room. I slowly unpacked all my clothes and stuff and organised it all. I put my jewellery in my vanity along with some lip balm and arranged some moisturisers and perfume on the top.

I had a few posters at the bottom which I stuck on the walls. Perfect. Nearly. Tomorrow it would be. I put my suitcase under the bed and then I heard yelling downstairs. I ran down and my jaw dropped.

"Holy shit" I whisper.
