a few weeks later

I've been with josh for a month now. he has met the real me so around him I'm confident. but he hasn't suspected my secret yet. I was mentally thankful as it was getting worse. him finding out would be horrible.

Megan and Hayley apologised about their strange behaviour and told me. Matts gay. I confronted him and he cried but I hugged him and told him I would support him. He couldn't break up with Amy though. She's popular and was cape able of a lot.

Today me and josh were good to hang out. I got ready into this:

I brushed my hair and grabbed my phone. He was sitting in the living room drinking coffee. "How do grown ups like coffee?" I sat beside him. "Don't say that I feel old" he says. "Old man" I nudge him. "Hey!" We both laugh.

"Oh by the way I got your a present!" He says handing me a small box. "Your scaring me" I said. He shook his head and smiled. "Open it!" He urges me. I opened it and inside I saw another box. "You need to stop doing this to me!" I smiled and covered my face. "Come I'm open it!" He grinned. I knew what was inside.

So I did. He brought me a new phone! An iPhone fucking 7! "your the best person ever!" I hugged him and he was startled and nearly spilt his coffee. He put t down and hugged me back. "I know" he joked. I smiled and rolled my eyes playfully. "I'm going to sort it out later. This is our fun day" I put the box on the table and turn to josh.

"So what first?" I ask. "We can get se breakfast...oh crap! I forgot the milk! I was going to make us pancakes" he says. "I can get it" I say. "By yourself?" He says. "Josh I've been living here for  just over a month. I'll be fine. I know where Wal Mart is" I smiled. "Be careful. And ring me if you get lost" he gave me $5 as I slipped my shoes on. "Oh and also get oreos" he added. I laughed and headed out.

I found the milk and the Oreos and then josh called "Hey sorry for calling. Have you got a spare plug? I lost mine" he says. I knew he was smiling. I giggled. "Top draw of my Alex 5 draws" I smiled. "Okay tha- Holy crap" He says. "Everything okay?" I asked. "Y-Yeah um bye" he ended the call. That was odd.

I made it home and called for Josh. "I got the milk! And the Oreos! I got two packs incase- josh!?" I called. I put the things on the counter and looked around. He wasn't here!

I ran upstairs and saw him in my room. His eyes were red. "Are you okay?" I asked him. He was sitting on the floor looking shocked. He looked at me. "Why didn't you tell me?" He asks, his voice hushed. Panic filled me. "What do you mean?" I asked him.

"These" his palms opened and...holy fuck. He found my weapons. Tears filled my eyes. I was speechless. I felt like there was a huge lump in my throat preventing me from speaking. "Mariah" he got up and wrapped his arms around me. I started to cry. I fell into his arms sobbing my heart out. My sleeve went up and exposed it all. I didn't care though. He knew.

"You know you can talk to me if your feeling like this" he examined the scars. "Your such a good kid" he mumbles. Tears streamed down my cheeks. I let him down. He was going to send me back. "I know what your thinking" I didn't look at him. I let myself drown in my tears. "I said to you I would help and support you. And that's exactly what I'm going to do"
