it was huge. i immediatly felt scared and insecure. i had to be brave. a few people looked at me. then a girl with blondish brown hair ran over. "you must be the new girl! mariah dun? im megan! i'll be showing you around!" she says kindly. "hi" i replied shyly. she took me to the main office and i got my schedual. "we have all the same lessons along with my friend hayley" she says. she took me to homeroom and sat me on a table with a brunette."your mariah right? hi, im hayley! welcome to ocean view" she smiled. they were both dressed really nicely. hayley was wearing a black cami, white jeans, black converse and a black beanie. she wore black beats round her neck and hoop earrings. megan was wearing a a white crop top under a denim waist coat and denim shorts and black boots. the bell rang and we all sat down. a tall lady with black short hair wearing a black shirt, a teal blazer, a black knee length skirt and black heels walked in. "wheres mariah dun?" she asks. everyone turns to me. i felt myself grow red from all the attention. "you must be the new girl! come up here!" she says kindly. i shyly stood up and made my way to the front. "tell us about yourself. where are you from? what are your hobbies? " she asks. i couldnt look up. so many people. i played with my hands shyly. "i-im from utah. i like l-listening to music a-and reading and youtube" i heard josh's voice in my head telling me to stay strong. tears brimmed in my eyes. i didnt like talking in front of people. "you can go sit down now. welcome to ocean view"

my first lesson was biology. well shucks. this is a proper high school. maybe i was ready for it.
