After such a filling breakfast, a breakfast "made with love", as Sirius puts it, Remus was sprawled out on the large leather couch. He slept quietly, Sirius was almost afraid he was dead. If it hadn't been for his chest moving up and down, Sirius believed he could've poisoned Remus.

Sirius couldn't help but glance at the sleeping boy, his eyelashes brushing his cheeks. Sirius was cleaning up their breakfast, he never slept much anyway, and Remus must've been tired from all their cleaning so early. He checked the time and realized it was close to noon, so he decided to cover Remus up with a blanket before heading out to go pick up the clumsy lovebirds.

Sirius made it to the hospital, after James and Lily were both discharged, Sirius waited in the lobby of the hospital.

James stood on his crutches, looking angry with the thick cast on his left leg. Lily didn't look any happier, she stood a few feet away from him, tapping on her phone while she had a similar cast on her right arm.

"Oh, woah.. everything okay here? Just because you broke your bones, doesn't mean you have to break up with each other.." Sirius teased, having them follow him out to his car.

"Lily won't talk to me! I've tried apologizing. We didn't break up-"

"Oh hush, you said 'I'll kiss your arm to make you feel better'. Then you fucking tripped over a goddamn bloody cord and your huge head slammed my arm before they could put the cast on yet!" She yelled. "Of course I won't talk to you! You haven't even tried apologizing! You just asked me if I wanted a kiss!" Lily grumbled, utterly flustered.

"Damn, you two are quite a crazy pair." Sirius chuckled. He was soaking in this moment, seeing them both so riled up. He helped James into the back seat before helping Lily into the front seat. Then they were off.

"Lily, I'm sorry.. I really am.. I just.. I didn't mean for this to happen.." James whined, his tone was completely annoying. Lily only rolled her eyes.

"I just can't wait to take a shower and sleep in a comfortable bed." Lily frowned, checking her phone. Her red curls were no longer styled from the party, they were quite tangled and all over the place. While James just looked like he got hit by a bus. His hair stuck up in so many different angles.

"My bed?" James asked hopefully.

"No. Not your bed, you prick. It's my bed now. You can pick some other room to sleep in. I won't have your stupid cast kicking me in the middle of a nice sleep.." Lily stated firmly.

"She's pure evil, Sirius. Help me, mate..." James begged, his glasses crooked on his nose.

"You two are a bit too dramatic for your own bloody good." Sirius laughed. "But seriously, Lily, I think James got the worst of the fall. A leg takes a lot longer to heal I believe than an arm.. If I'm wrong about that, then he's just lugging weight all around. An arm cast is much lighter.. He pretty much protected you from the fall." Sirius pointed out.

Lily faltered. "Pfft, whatever. If he hadn't been spinning me around-"

"I was showing you that I loved you in a very drunken state!" James exclaimed. "This isn't fair, Lily.." he groaned.

"If you weren't so annoying, maybe I'd be fair." Lily huffed, luckily for her, Sirius had just parked the car in the driveway. She got out and stormed into the house and went upstairs to shower.

James just slumped against the seat. "It's hopeless. She's always so.. stubborn!" He exclaimed. "Thanks for defending me, mate. I really appreciate it."

Sirius barked with laughter. "You thought I did it for you? I was only stating the truth, Prongs.. You're my brother, and I love you, but seriously? You tripped and hit your head on her arm? It's kind of pathetic. What happened to chivalry?" He snorted.
