"Oh hell... Sirius, are you alright?" Remus panicked, parting and stepping back. He bit his lip, fairly worried as he watched Sirius hiss in pain.

"I.. I'm.. great.. brilliant.. really just gushing with absolute happiness right now.. Nothing is wrong.." he choked out, holding his hand.

Remus acted instantly and brought him to the sink before turning on the cold water. He grabbed the other's wrist, frowning at the sight of the redness of his palm. He stuck his hand under the water and Sirius felt momentary relief. Remus felt like he asked the most ridiculous question ever. It was stupid of him.. he was going to go over that question a million times in his head. Was he alright? Really??? The guy just got burnt on his hand! No, Remus! Of course he isn't.

"Is there a first aid kit around here at all?" Remus asked, going to search the bathrooms and multiple closets.

"Should be one in the closet down the hall.. if not, then the bathroom. If I die, at least I'll die knowing I got to see your dick. And I got to kiss you." The drama queen groaned as he let the cold water cool his hand.

"You're not going to die you fucking shitface." Remus yelled from down the hall as he searched the closet. He found a small kit and hurried back into the kitchen. He opened the box and Sirius eyed it warily. Usually he never cared for his injuries. He never cared for doctors. Or evil places such as hospitals. He was alright as long as it was someone else who was injured, he just had a minor fear of being a patient.

"So.. uh, what are you going to do for me, Doctor?" Sirius asked, chuckling nervously.

"Well, Mr. Black, I'm going to put the burn cream on you if I can even find it. Oh, here we go. Got it!" Remus smiled triumphantly. He opened the vial of cream and turned the sink off before taking out some medical gauze as well.

"You know what? I'm actually feeling quite better! Seems that cold water does the trick!" Sirius said cheerfully, shaking the water off his burnt hand. "So I'll finish up making that soup.."

"Sit on the fucking counter and let me bandage you, you stupid git." Remus stated firmly, his amber eyes flashed with immense fire behind them. Sirius narrowed his eyes, quite annoyed, but listened and hopped onto the counter right next to where the kit was laying. He was just glad there weren't any needles. He hummed, whistled, and sang while Remus applied the cream. It really did make him feel a lot better, he never really knew why he was so finicky about things like this.

"Now, you're going to have to change this every day, just to make sure it's always kept clean. Burns are really vulnerable and can truly cause much more damage with infections than most people think. Skin is your number one defense mechanism against fighting infection, and once that's destroyed, a lot of bacteria can get in there.." Remus informed him in a completely serious tone. He didn't want the little shit to contract staph or something fatal. Sure, maybe he was overreacting, but this guy right here, he needed him to stay where he was. Remus didn't want him to leave his side.

"Goddamn, since when are you an actual doctor?" Sirius asked, his eyebrow raised in both fascination and surprise.

Remus's face grew a nice tint of pink. "I'm nothing near an actual doctor. Took a class on anatomy and physiology. I just retained a lot.." he stated as he finished wrapping the gauze around Sirius's hand. "And since when are you so stupid as to go and burn your bloody hand on a heating stove?"

"Oi! You're the one who pushed me against the bloody pantry! I'm sorry I was so fucking distracted by how hot you are. I was pretty fucking occupied by you being all over me and subduing my ultimate dominance, Remus!" Sirius said, feeling exasperated. "It was your fault!"
