- Sorry for the wait! -

George's POV

Mick had told me about his plan, and as though I really didn't want to admit it, I wanted it to work.

Break up Jimmy and Kaylee.

It seemed simple and casual, but that was the end result; the tricky and genius part was how this was going to work.

I knew Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stone's were about to burst through those doors and play a gig with us, and as soon as they did, I knew I needed to go and fulfil Mick's request.

Now, walking down the hallway, John's outburst ringing in my head, I knew I needed this plan to work.

Turning a corner, I almost cried out in relief when I came across a plain door, with a knob hanger, the words 'Led Zeppelin' imprinted across it.

Slowly, I looked around me to make sure no one was watching, and opened the door, the bare walls and neat interior quite shocking.

Inching inside, I noticed a small chest of drawers with papers spread amongst the top; tour dates.

"Yes!" I exclaimed, grabbing one and shoving it inside my pocket, turning to leave.

I no later had made it out of the dressing room, before I crashed lightly into someone, making a 'oomf' sound.

"I'm sorry!" I exclaimed, pulling back, only to find the wide eyed Kaylee before me, confused.

"George?" She exclaimed, raising her eyebrows. "What were you-"

"Sh!" I interupted, pulling her arm away from the door. "Don't tell anyone, please."

"Well, I-"

"Hey, George! Can you tune my guitar?"

The voice startled me, and I stared at Kaylee, gaping, lost for words.

I hadn't seen her in so long, and I had so many questions, including a devious plan to break up her happy relationship.

I let go of Kaylee's arm, unsure of what to say to her - she was looking back at me with panic; I didn't know where to start, she seemed so lost.

"Meet me in front of the hotel in, let's say, 10 minutes? We'll be on stage soon, but I want to catch up."

"Wait, you're not mad at me?" She asked, watching me walk down the hallway, away from her. "I mean, after what happened with John?"

I shook my head, about to reply, when the voice called out to me again, and I turned to run.

The sky was always pretty this time of day, but I didn't stop to admire.

Running down towards the hotel we were staying at, I noticed the slight protrude of the two other band buses, where Kaylee must've run off to after I'd told her to meet me.

"Kaylee!" I called, knowing we were quite alone, slowing down my pace.

"George!" Came the reply, and I was surprised as Kaylee dashed out to hug me.

I breathed out in relief; at least she was happy to see me, and it seemed as though I was trusted.

"How are you?" I asked, setting off a friendly conversation. "Holy crap, how many months?"

Kaylee's pregnant stomach was quite big.

Maybe we should postpone the plan until she was done with being pregnant; trauma might cause her to lose it.
