I REALLY NEEDED TO GET THIS CHAPTER FINISHED OR I WON'T BE ABLE TO SLEEP!

Kaylee's POV

Usually, when I thought about celebrities getting off a plane, I thought about the immensely huge crowd waving banners and screaming as their favourite band clambered down a large attachable staircase, waving.

But I guess that was America..

Since we'd arrived in Liverpool, literally a short while away by plane, it was just us.

Us and a small group of people, standing in the wind, too far away for their faces to be recognisable.

John, Ringo, Paul and Brian were off the plane and now walking towards that group, since the plane had landed on the runway and not properly gone up to the airport, as The Beatle's surely would've been spotted.

"Pattie." George whispered behind me, and I perked up.

"Is Cynthia there too?" I whispered back, making my way down the ladder steps, careful not to trip.

"Yes, she's the blonde." George responded, and I felt my heart sink. "You can't really see her hair from here. She wears funny hats."

"I know," I hushed back. "I've met her."

"What?" George asked, and I knew he must have an expression of disbelief. I had now reached the ground, and George was right on my heels, so he could look at my face now. "What do you mean? When did you meet her?"

"It was when I was still with Jimmy. She- she was curious about being pregnant and all, and she asked a few questions." I gave George a wry smile. "She knows my name and everything. What am I going to say about being here? With you guys?"

George thought for a moment, then replied, cautious that we were now approaching the rest of the band, who were walking rather slowly to the now jumping and excited group of girlfriends and family.

"Look, say you're my cousin, eh?" George suggested, giving me a grin. "No one is gonna object, and anyway, you'll be with Pattie, and she know's your situation; not the baby. Keep it a secret."

"But George, I'm a month away from.. From being a mother."

At this, George frowned and opened his mouth to speak, but we'd reached the rest of the band and the group who'd come to greet us.

"John!" Someone cried, and before I had a chance to react, a blur of dark colours and pale skin came rushing up and nearly knocked John over as the person threw themselves onto him.

"Cyn!" John exclaimed, and I felt my breathing hitch.

I stared at Cynthia's pretty face, resting on John's shoulder as she hugged him, the sound of Pattie exclaiming "George!" fading into nothingness.

Before I could register, but I knew it had to come, Cynthia opened her eyes and spotted me, her jaw dropping, pushing John back.

Cynthia stood there, staring at me, holding John's hand, who'd turned nervously to see me standing there, looking stupid, suitcase in hand, all alone.

"Kaylee?" Cynthia whispered, confused, looking from John to me. "What- what are you doing here?"

"Oh, didn't she tell you?" I head George call from where he was with Pattie - they must've dated as soon as I had left, since they were very close - his smile helping the aching I felt inside as my baby's dad embraced another. "She's my cousin!"

"You're George's cousin?" Cynthia gasped, and soon smiled at me. "Woah, you could've told me! Well, I guess I never told you I was dating John Lennon!"

The laughter that followed sickened me to the bone and I had to turn away as Cynthia then kissed John.

I realised I couldn't stand here in the one spot, so I tightened my grip on my suitcase and marched forward, following Paul and Ringo, who'd walked ahead, Ringo holding the hand of a dark haired girl I'd never seen before.

Speeding up my pace, I ended up beside Paul, who seemed startled to see me to close.

"Kaylee! Hey, uh, welcome to Liverpool."

And that's all he'd managed to choke out, as I gave him a forced smile and held his arm, desperate to show John that if he moved on, so could I.
