Character Questions!! :)

Hello dears! I just posted quite a few chapters and I feel fairly proud of myself, I must say. I have a few friends that post stories here on Wattpad and one of them did a section of questions that readers have for a certain character. I thought it was a remarkably charming idea, and I wanted to see if anyone here had any questions for the characters.
So, if you have a question for any character in the series, whether it's one of my own characters or one of Rowling's, I will attempt to answer them as best as I can in the way I see that character answering. If you have any questions for me, I'll answer them as well. Post the question as a comment or shoot me a message and I will add it here with the answer, tagging you in it so you'll know once it's answered. (If you wish to remain anonymous that's fine too dears, just tell me.)
If no has any questions, then I'll either assume I'm leaving very little to question or that no one really cares. Either way, I won't let it get me down. I hope every one has a wonderful week, and remember that you are all beautiful.
         Love always,
                                         Jane :)

Kirie2002: Why is Malfoy referred to by his last name while others, except Professors, aren't?
So, in the books and movies series Draco Malfoy is usually just called Malfoy by the trio and friends. I always kind of thought it was because their dislike for the Malfoy family, so by saying his last name in a sneer-like way they were 'dissing' the whole family not just Draco. So, to add to that, I had Kat pick up on the usage of the name since her now husband and family all used it that way. :)

@JordiGranger  "Who's your favorite character?"

This is a hard question for me really. I've put so much of myself into Kat, all the selfdoubt and self hate she carries but also the courage and strength that I want to one day have. While Scar is an almost exact replica of my best friend. I love how I picture the twins (both Weasley and vamp twins)relationship and personality. But out of the characters that the queen Rowling wrote, I have to say Severus Snape. His character and overall backstory is just so touching and powerful and not reveled until the very end of the series and I always thought that was amazing . :) I hope that answers it a bit!

"Who is the best set of twinz vamp or norm and who is ya fav out of the four twinz?"

This is a hard set of questions because while I love the Weasley twins, the vamp twins are of my own creation with some characteristics of two of my friends used to create them. I will say while the Weasley the vamp twins are my favorite set of twins because I made them myself. My favorite twin out of the four though is surprisingly Fred. I don't know why but out of the two Weasley twins I feel that he would be the most.....level headed I suppose and more likely to think things through a bit before jumping the gun as they say. Now I could argue the same of George but for some reason I always imagined him to be a bit more impulsive than Fred.

"Was there ever a time you thought Kat would end up with Fred instead of George?"

Yes! I get so many corrections on the profile pics used for the stories, especially the first book with the image is Fred and not George. However, that is because originally I thought I would have Kat fall in love with Fred. Then I started writing the story and found that Fred had fallen into a brother role early on, and it didn't feel right to have her fall in love romantically with him. I did try at one point in book three but by then it felt similar to having her fall in love with Viktor in a romantic sense, which felt just as wrong. So, suppose you can say those chapters of their romance never made it past the first draft on my computer let alone onto Wattpad.

-Question from Messenger: boredstudent

"Was Scarlett supposed to be one of the 'bad guys' in the beginning of the series?"

I get this question a lot, and honestly no. I never saw her as one of the villains or becoming one of them. I wanted her beginning with Kat in the story to be a bit rough in order to show why Kat had such great insecurities when it came to letting others know what she was. The feeling of betrayal from a friend having affected her in such a way would lead her to make the choices she made about hiding her identity when first attending Hogwarts, which in turn would lead to the path that we now find her on in the fourth book.

However, I also wanted to have the potential to show a friendship that could be repaired with forgiveness and time. So many of us walk away from friendships that might could have been saved with a bit of communication, and I never wanted Kat and Scar's friendship to be one of those. Now that being said some friendships are meant to end, especially toxic ones. But I never saw Scar and Kat's as toxic, I just saw a muggle-born Scarlett who was only 15 years old (a kid really) be given surprising news that she didn't know how to process without time.

"Why do so many of the bad guys refer to Kat as a mudblood?"

This really does seem to upset so many readers, and I apologize for it. I have the bad guys use that term for Kat solely on the definition of mudblood. We all know it means a muggle-born usually and sometimes half-blood. But the secondary meaning is literally, as Hermione once stated I believe, 'somone having dirty blood.' Kat is the daughter of a witch and wizard, that's true. But, she is from America which means her lineage is probably not as 'clean' as the British or even European magical communities. However, that is not the only reason I see them using that term for her. The fact that her blood is tainted, that she is by definition a half-vampire/dhamphir, means that she would have 'dirty blood.'

I love answering these questions, please feel free to send me anymore or leave more comments should you have more questions. I'm considering having a final chapter at the end of this book for this purpose as well should anyone have questions after this chapter, that way we can avoid spoilers for the new readers. :)
