George's POV:

I was sitting on the back porch, waiting for Kitty to come back home and still trying to calm my anger at what they did to her when someone hit me on the back of the head. I turned around half-expecting mum to be waiting to scold me for not wearing a cloak, but find myself facing a rather annoyed looking twin instead.

"You stupid git, what did you do this time?" (F)

"What?" (G)

"You know sometimes I wonder why you're the married twin. I mean bloody hell, couldn't you tell how disappointed she was when you said she should visit Scar without you? Not to mention, what the bloody hell happened before dinner to make it look like Kitty was attending the wedding of Malfoy?" (F)

"What? No, she was.......nothing happened earlier." (G)

"Really?" (F)

"We were, well snogging and things were heating up but then I saw.....she's got new scars from whatever their doing to her at Hogwarts. I just, I didn't lash out at her but I'm furious at those bloody Carrows." (G)

I hear him let out an exasperated sigh before falling into the seat next to me. He pinches the bridge of his nose before he looks back up at me before shaking his head. I hear him mumble something under his breath before looking staring out into the yard.

"And when you were mad did you say anything to her?" (F)

"No, I was afraid I would yell at her." (G)

"So instead, you say there and literally said nothing? Did you forget she could smell emotions or was that not important to you mate?" (F)

I paused as I realized what he was talking about, she would have smelt the fury coming off of me and I didn't give her a reason for it. I hit myself in the head this time as I realize that she may think that I'm mad at her, and not going with her to Scar's probably didn't help with that assumption.

"I am a stupid git." (G)

"What would you do without me?" (F)

"Probably have lost her a long time ago Freddie. Thanks." (G)

"It's no trouble your holiness. Now when she gets here I suggest you woo her, after silencing the door of course. No one else needs to hear you woo her." (F)

"Oi, shove off!" (G)

I shove him before he stands and walks back into the house still laughing, but the smile on my face doesn't last long because I realize that she was hurt by my actions earlier. George Weasley you really are a stupid git sometimes, and now it's lost you time with her in your arms. Bloody stupid git.

Kat's POV:

"Scar just tell me what you've seen for next term if you've seen it." (K)

"Nothing much I swear. Something big is coming I feel it, but I haven't seen any of it. I do agree with you about Neville though, I've seen him go into hiding in the Room of Requirement next term after angering them one too many times." (S)

"I'd be surprised if he didn't honestly." (K)

"Has he really changed that much?" (S)

"Oh Scar you have no idea how much some of those students have changed. The ones that were once timid and shy are the ones giving the Carrows and myself the most grief right now." (K)

"But would they last in a real fight?" (S)

"No, not all of them. But that can be said for both sides now can't it?" (K)

I see her nod a bit with a distant look coming into her eyes as she remembers the dreams of what she saw happening to me and I filled in the missing parts that she didn't see. She was none too pleased with the Carrows, but her fury was nothing like George's and she at least explained why she was mad. I hear Donovan walking back down the stairs, having gone to put my handsome godson Dmitri to bed.

"Have you heard from Viktor?" (K)

"Ves ve ave. He is doing vell, no problems in Bulgaria." (Don)

"Good, I'll try to visit him over the holidays if he doesn't come here. It might be a good idea for y'all to come as well. Vik has enough room I know." (K)

"Ve vere thinking of doing vust that." (Don)

I smile before I stand to leave, hugging them both tightly before I promise to visit again in a few days. I vamp out before I climb into the floo and travel back home to the Burrow. As I expected Mrs. Weasley was in the kitchen and had a wand trained on me faster than I thought she could. Seeing my vamped out she lowers it before welcoming me home, and going back to the dishes in the sink.

I take a deep breath and smell him outside on the porch and decide that it's time to simply face the fury. I unvamp as I go, hoping that he won't yell at me or ask me not to go back to Hogwarts, because I can't. I won't leave the rest of the students there to suffer under the Carrows. I walk outside and am met by the bitter air of December, and I briefly consider scolding him for not wearing a cloak but decide against it.

"Hello George." (K)

"Kitty! You're back! I'm so sorry I didn't go with you love, forgive me?" (G)

I was surprised by his sudden apology and by the way he had jumped up and pulled me into his arms without a second thought. I wrapped my arms around him as I felt him do the same, before I pull away enough to see his face. I see his eager chocolate eyes staring at me, almost pleading but I'm left wondering why he's asking for forgiveness in the first place.

"George, it's fine. I understand that you needed time to cool off." (K)

"No love, it's most definitely not fine how I acted. I wasn't mad at you in any way though love I swear. I was only mad at the Carrows. I swear that if I ever get my hands on them I'll kill them myself." (G)

"It's fine George, I forgive you. Can we just not leave each other's side again though while I'm home? Please?" (K)

"I'd want nothing differently. I bloody love you, you bloody beautiful creature." (G)

I didn't respond as I crashed my lips to his, wrapping my fingers in his ginger colored hair that I loved so much. I felt him wrap his arms around my waist before swinging me up and carrying me through the house and up to our room bridal style. We only stopped kissing to cast the spells on the door before he took off his sweater and helped me with my own. He paused again when I was laying on the bed in my bra and I felt myself bite my lip in worry that he thought the scars were ugly.

"You don't mind them too much do you Georgie?" (K)

"Mind them? Only in the sense that when I see the Carrows I will make their death as slow and painful as possible. But don't you ever think I mind them for any other reason love. They are just as beautiful as you are, and you are so bloody beautiful." (G)

I pulled him flat against me as our lips met again, both of smiling at begin together with each other after what felt like an eternity. My fingers traced their way down his chest, just as he began to kiss down my neck and then along each and every scar he reached. By the time he came back to my lips I was moaning his name, his chocolate brown eyes alight with mischief in the dark and I know my own blue ones must look similar. I don't imagine either of us making it down to breakfast tomorrow morning, I suspect we'll be sleeping in.
