Kat's POV:

************2 months after Roxanne was born******************

"Fred! I swear on Merlin's pants and Houdini's wand that if your toys are strewn all over the floor when I come up there you will not be going to see Grandma Minnie with me and Roxanne." (K)

I heard the scuffle of hurried footsteps upstairs as he rushed to put away all his toys. I held back a bit of a laugh at the fact that not seeing Grandma Minnie as he called her was a useful tool in getting him to clean his room. George had only just gone back to work this week under my insistence. He may have been a help with Fred and even Roxanne at times, but I swear sometimes it felt as if I was a mother to all three of them instead of just the two. How Lee managed to keep him professional acting......well professional acting as necessary in a joke shop, I'll never know.

Ever since the war, Minnie and I had kept in touch with each one another, visiting each other for tea every few weeks. Fred has even taken to calling her Grandma Minnie, picking up Minnie from me calling her that, I suppose. Though George was still expected to call her Professor McGonagall. I smile again as I hear Roxanne cooing in her carrier next to the fireplace, all packed and ready to go. On the past few moon nights when I gave her the bottles of blood to drink, my guilt at passing on my curse to her would raise its ugly head, but I always had George to talk me out of it. Bless that man.

"Two minutes and we're leaving without you!" (K)

I heard a meow at my feet and smiled at the aging Moonlight before she went to sit by Roxanne. She was just as protective over her as she was over me, and she often runs into our room to get us before Roxanne ever starts crying in the middle of the night. It's like she has a sixth sense about her. She is protective over Fred too at times, but it seemed Roxanne was her main priority now.

I smiled as I thought about Roxanne being close in age to Scarlett's child when she was born in another few weeks at most. We were both more than thrilled that our children would grow up together, and we hoped they would be as close as friends as we all were in school and still are. Dmitri just turned 6 and Fred turns five in a few more weeks, but the year in age difference doesn't seem to matter to either of them because they and Teddy are thicker than thieves, and more mischief than all their parents combined, myself and Scar included.

When Scar had found out we named Roxanne after her, she had burst out in tears and couldn't get a steady word out to save her life. I knew it wasn't just the pregnancy hormones talking from her, she was truly honored to have been a namesake for Roxanne as well as a Godmother to both my children, as I was to be to her two. I'd be planning Fred's birthday party and a welcome home to the new little goddaughter the next few weeks, and I couldn't be happier.

I heard the sound of footsteps running down the stairs and I shook my head knowing that one day those stairs would be the cause of a major accident. I put the fiercest mother look I could on my face, one I learned from Mrs. Weasley after all these years, before turning to look at Fred. He had a carefully placed smile on his face but his cheeks were flushed red along with his ears.

"Fred Thorfinn Weasley.......if I go up there will there be toys all over the floor?" (K)

"No mum, I swear I put them in the chest." (F)

"Alright, well if we get back from Grandma Minnie's and I find out you were lying it's no joke shop for a month." (K)

"Yes mum." (F)

Satisfied that there really was no toys on the floor, because Fred would never risk no joke shop for a month, I took his hand into mine before picking up Roxanne's carrier. I stepped into the flames of the fireplace and shouted out Minnie's office, before we were rushed straight to the fireplace in what was once Dumbledore's and then Severus's office, now it was Headmistress McGonagall.
