Narrator's POV:

For some life passes slowly, for others it seems as if there is never enough time to do everything that they want to do. Time has the power to decay and destroy all things in its path if it is not kept up well, even love. For Katherine and George Weasley though, the passing of time only made their love for each other, their children, and their friends grow stronger. The passing of the years had led to many changes for each of them and their friend group.

Viktor Krum had found the love of his life in a fellow Quidditch player, just not one from his own team. After dating for more than six years, he married Angelina Johnson, and they were talking of having a child or two after Angelina retired from her current team the Holyhead Harpies. At 27 years old he wasn't always the best seeker in the league, but he was by far the most respected and most well-known. To Kitty though, as he still called her, he was simply her brother Vik and her two children saw him as merely an uncle that they could watch at Quidditch games.

Theodore, or Teddy as he was most often called, grew up loved by everyone who met him just as Katherine had promised Remus and Tonks he would at their funeral. He was told stories of his parents from their friends and he stayed with his Godfather Harry or his Godmother Katherine almost more than his grandmother. Andromeda had no problem with this of course, with hopes that if he saw how well his Godmother lived even though she was different, he would have no qualms with his own father having been a werewolf.

Aleric visited his biological family often, with most of the children learning to call him Grandpire Aleric, much to Katherine's dismay. Though she eventually accepted the name and even told Aleric that it was humous at times to hear the children yell it out at when he arrived. Katherine's vampire twin friends had also been affected by the passing years, though they didn't look it at all. Mike and Eliza had been married for five years or so and were currently expecting their first child. Martha and John married three years ago but don't want kids right now, rather they are content to simply be the doting aunt and uncle to Mike's and Eliza's child.

Katherine's cousin Xander and his no-maj or muggle wife Maggie had two kids, ages three and two, who are spoiled by their 'Aunt Kitty and Uncle Georgie'. Though Maggie would prefer if Uncle Georgie would send less magical gifts as she is still getting used to a few of facets of magical life. Katherine's other cousins had also married over the years and she was the proud 'Aunt' to another three little girls and two boys.

Zeldalia, the menace in the US's magical community was caught about 6 years ago in a battle similar to that at the one at Hogwarts, but with much fewer causalities. Katherine was finally safe to return home and visit with the kids and husband as often as she liked. The children were now sufficiently spoiled by two sets of grandparents, not including 'Grandpire Aleric' and 'Grandma Minnie.'

Lee and Alicia married just as everyone knew they would, and had a little boy named Luke and a little girl named Angie. Luna Lovegood and Rolf Schamander married and had two kids, proving to everyone that stated it was an odd couple that though they were an odd couple they worked perfectly together. Katherine was never prouder that she was right about that match, and the match between Vik and Angelina.
