Eh. I don't really understand why people ship this? If anyone ships this, please explain why you do in the comments because I'm honestly confused.
Other than Starflight's crush on Sunny, and Sunny feeling defensive with Fatespeaker around Starflight that one time, there were no moments of this ship in the books.
It feels awfully one-sided; Starflight likes Sunny, but Sunny doesn't like him back. She's made that clear.
I understand that it may seem strange since Sunny felt jealous when Fatespeaker came to him that one time, but other than that, there were no other moments. It's like Starnami in the sense that only one thing happened that may have suggested absolutely anything.
And I generally don't ship any of the DoD with each other, since they grew up together and it feels like shipping adopted siblings. Like, I get they're not blood-related, but it's still weird.
Additionally, there's almost no way for them to get together unless Tui changes her mind since she confirmed that Sunny was going to have a romantic partner that she hasn't met yet. So, obviously, that marks off the possibility of Starflight.
Admittedly, though, it's not the worst ship ever. It could be worse.

"No, I mean- you're all I think about and I want to be near you and it hurts when I'm not, and everything I do, I think, what would Sunny want me to do? And I think you're the only dragon who sees me the whole way I am and likes me anyway... And I had to tell you, in case something happens to either one of us today, although if anything happens to you I don't know how I'd be able to breathe or think or do anything ever again."
