"Don't worry! We got this bud. I am his god father after all" Anthony says as he holds Bennett to his side.

"Emily... I'm trusting you" I say turning to her and she laughs. Anthony starts to pout but that honestly doesn't phase me anymore.

"Heyyy. I can do this" he insists.

"No offense, but I trust her more. She's watched him before" I reiterate.

"I'll show you. We're going to have the best time tonight and you're going to come back and be so thankful" he claims.

"I sure hope so" I mumble.

After getting his formula out and setting out his pajamas I was ready for the date night. All I needed was my date.

At 6:32 my beautiful fiancé emerges from our room in a beautiful white dress. Her auburn hair set in waves and her abs already coming back and showing through the dress. I feel my heart pound against my chest as she gets closer. Her perfume surrounds me when she finally reaches me sending me to my happy place, and that is wherever she was.

"Wow Alex, you look amazing" Emily says and she smiles.

"Thank you. It's been a while since I dressed up. It feels weird not to me in shorts and a t shirt with my hair thrown in a messy bun" she giggles.

"I think you look beautiful then too" I smile.

"I think I'm going to be sick" Anthony mumbles and Emily smacks his chest. I pull Alex to me and kiss her forehead and she wraps her arms around me.

"You kids have fun. Spend as much time together as possible. He'll be asleep by the time you get back and I'll make sure Anthony doesn't eat all your food" Emily says.

"Thank you so much Em. Love you" Alex says giving her a hug.

"Seriously, nothing!?! I'm the one holding the kid" Anthony whines causing us to laugh. It's too easy to mess with him.

After a little bit of driving I park the car and take Alex down to the river. We walk around and I show her all the cool buildings along it and what they're for. I was still showing her around some and this is one of the last places we haven't been to, surprisingly enough. We end up walking around by the water as close as can be finally enjoying some alone time. I will never complain about having a kid but I will complain about not being around Alex as much as possible. I kind of really love her.

"I will never get over how beautiful this city is" she sighs. Her eyes searching for whatever she finds beautiful. Her eyes find me and I get chills down my spine.

"I will never get tired of showing it to you" I admit. I wrap my arm around her as the sun sets on this beautiful day.

"What colors were you thinking for the wedding" she asks randomly.

"I kind of like a auburn color... like the color of your hair" I admit and she turns to me.

"Why so" she asks.

"It's one of my favorite things about you. Your hair matches your fiery passionate personality. It's a beautiful color, especially for a fall wedding and it means a lot to me" I shrug.

"I like it" she smiles.

"Do you feel like I'm being too pushy with the wedding? Because I know usually the woman does most of it but I know you don't really like to think about it-" I ramble.

"No no. It's nothing like that. I love that you're so excited and so involved. It's a lot to do in such a small amount of time and I'll need your help. I like that you're so into it. It makes me feel... good" she guesses.

"Good" I sigh.

"And I'm not afraid of marriage. I mean, not like I used to. I would very much love to be married to you right now but it's still scary. You're important to this city but you're most important to me and Bennett. I don't want to mess it up or something" she shrugs.

"It's your wedding, you can't mess it up unless you allow yourself to. Planning a wedding is hard and doing it in such a short amount of time it even harder. But I want you to know that whatever happens that night, as long as I leave married to you, I don't care" I explain.

"Well in that case... I cannot wait."

After messing around by the river we head to a little Italian restaurant Anthony suggested us to and get a table outside. We order our food before easily falling into conversation.

"I think I found a good place for us to get married" I start and she perks up.

"Do tell" she encourages.

"I found it in a place called prairie productions. It's a rooftop venue that has a beautiful view of the entire city. Since our relationship is kind of based of finding love in this city and we weren't inviting a bunch of people it would be perfect" I smile.

"It sounds wonderful. I can't wait to see it" she admits.

"We can take a look now... if you would like" I shrug.

"I would love to" she insists.

We finish dinner and head over to the venue. I talk to the receptionist and she takes us up there. It was set for a wedding the next day but it was super pretty. There were white chairs set up and a little gazebo at the front. The carpet way was set with some flowers on the ground and white bows on the chair. The only light coming from the city but it was more than enough to see what was going on.

"Wow... this is amazing" Alex admits walking around. She grabs my hand and pulls me to the alter. She puts her other hand in mine and turns to me. Here she was, in a white dress under a alter ready to marry me, just like I dreamed.

"Do you like it" I ask.

"I love it. The things we could do to this place..." she trails off.

"We can make this, and this city, all ours. And I don't want any of it if you're not here with me. That's why I can't wait to marry you. So we can tell our son that time.. it doesn't matter. Love has no limits and that's what we have" I say.

"Save some for the vows" she teases and I smile.

"Plenty of that to go around" I assure her. She turns around in my arms and I hold her tight. We look out over the city and try to imagine what it looks in five months from now, when we're up here as man and wife.
