The past three days have been and absolute blur. Early Wednesday morning the Cubs won their first title in 108 years. From the moment Anthony caught that's ball the celebration started and the celebration went on until the sun was threatening to come up early that same morning. The players and their family's hop on the bus and ride from Columbus to Wrigley, not a single person, big or small, even closed their eyes to get some sleep. It was loud and it was a lot of fun but no one could sleep on there. Not even Bennett.

We get home early Thursday morning and are met with a bunch of fans. We get a escort to our house and I was finally able to breathe for once. I put Ben to bed where he knocks out and I crawl into my own. Kris and I sleep most of the day and wake up only to watch espn and MLB network and watch the replay on CSN just to make sure it's real life.

That brings us to now. Friday November 5th 2016. We get married a week from tomorrow so let's just say this month has been crazy. And today is the big celebration with millions of our closest friends.

Before the parade gets started we get to Wrigley per request of Joe. He brings in the guys and gives them a little speech. This is the last time this group would be together and that made me really sad. I mean they're all invited to the wedding but that's not the same.

After that we take some pictures and Kris does a interview or five. Someone gives him a bedazzled WWE belt which I am sure he'll wear at the wedding. He loved that thing.

Kris steps up on the MLB Network stand after gettting called over and they ask about the belt. I'm not really sure where he was obsessed with it.

"So you're having a pretty good year. You had a beautiful baby boy and won a World Series. You're the favorite to win MVP and you're getting married next weekend. You've got to be feeling pretty good" the announcer says.

"I feel amazing. I'm very blessed to have it so good. My little boy Bennett grows every day and watching him do so is better than any World Series. He has no clue what's been going on but when he gets older he'll see the pictures of him from these past few days and understand how cool he really is. The trophy and with this belt, he'll quickly understand how cool it is. My fiancé has been amazing through this all, she's been my biggest fan and she's a huge reason I've had a MVP season. She never takes it easy on me at work. And we get married next weekend so we're both pretty tired but really happy" he says as he smiles at me.

"How are you going to top this next year" they ask.

"Next year? I'm still not done celebrating this year. We have a parade to do" he laughs.

"That's true. You know a estimated 6 million people are expected to show up" they ask.

"That's amazing. That shows how amazing this team was and what sports does for people. This is bigger than baseball and I'm honored to be a part of it" he admits.

They talk a little more before he joins us once again. We get placed on a bus and Emily sits next to me.

"How's my favorite little family" she chirps.

"Really tired. Here's a time I wish I could drink" I admit.

"What do you mean "you wish you could drink"" she says and I stop. I look at Kris as he jokes around with Dexter, Anthony, and Jason just happily existing.

"I mean... I might be pregnant but I'm not sure" I say softly and she peeks up.

"Really" she squeals.

"Yes but please don't say anything until I tell him" I beg.

"I wouldn't dream of it. May I play with your current baby until the next one comes" she bargains.

"Of course" I smile.

I sit and talk to her for a little until the bus starts moving. Kris pulls me up and takes me to the side of the bus.

"Look out there" he gasps. All the way down the street, for far and wide it was nothing but blue. Everyone smiling and taking pictures. Hours ago all total strangers and now they're friends cheering on their favorite people. What a sight it was.

"You guys did all of this" I whisper.

"Amazing isn't it" he asks.

"It's beautiful" I admit.

The parade ends in grant park where a few more million people gathered for the speeches. There was a stage at the front then a sea of blue. It was crazy. I join them with my child secures tightly to my side. I watch as each player and coach was called up one by one. Tom and Theo and Jed say some words before the players say their speeches. I was fine until Anthony gave us farewells to David. We we're all going to miss him but I was going to more than most. He was like a second dad to me. I loved working him out because he made it so much fun. He loved seeing Bennett and was always over at our house. He was a important figure in me getting better and I was going to miss him.

At the end they bring out Brett Eldridge to sing go Cubs go. Lets just say they should all stick to the whole baseball thing. They're a lot better at that.

Surprisingly enough the day was over by noon. Kris stays back to take pictures and say goodbye. He tells Woody he isn't allowed into the wedding unless he's wearing a shirt where he became very upset. He's still coming he's just not happy about it.

We get home and Kris crashes on the couch with Bennett. They watch tv as I make sure everything is ready for the wedding. Everything was set I just had to double check and make sure I was ready. I find the paper with my vows on it and smile. I was going to have it memorized but I like what I had.

"What you got there" Kris asks and I quickly stuff it in my jeans.

"You'll find out soon enough" I smirk.

"Those wouldn't be your vows" he asks.

"Maybe" I tease.

"I wanna see" he claims.

"Well you're gonna wait" I smile and he pouts. I peck his lips and he gets over it.

"Is there anything you need me to do" he ask.

"I don't think so. The flowers are getting prepared. The roof is already set. I have the dress and you have the tux. Everyone is mostly already in Chicago. The band is super excited and all the food is prepared. I think we're ready" I admit.

"I want to get married right now" he claims.

"Still working on that patience of yours I see" I joke.

"When it comes to you time always seems to move so slow. I love it because I get more time with you, but I hate it because I just want to be married already" he claims.

"Well Mr. Bryant. You have eight days" I recall.

"Eight days" he repeats.
