"Selare wait!"
"What?" She already has her hands on the buttons of my pants.
"There's someone watching." There is a skeleton soldier peeking from the small window of the tent.
As soon as I noticed it turned away and pretended like its acting normal
"Don't worry about him. Even if he sees he won't be able to satisfy himself. He's all bones now; no guts and flesh."
That is so sad. I feel bad for you mister skeleton soldier. No, I feel bad for all the skeleton soldiers.
And then Selare start to take off my buttons again.
"Selara! Wait!"
"Ugh~ What now?"
"What is he doing?" I pointed at the skeleton soldier who was peeking earlier.
He seems to be looking at a magic circle floating in front of him.
"Oh that. He's just looking at his status."
"Status? tell me more about this."
"But our ritual." She wined.
I grabbed her by the shoulder.
"Listen, this seal on my chest is an already enough indication that I am your familiar and you are my master. We don't really need to do that one-in-flesh ritual anymore. As long as I take you as my master and you take me as your familiar. That's all that matters. Ok?"
She nodded her head yes. And sat down.
"Then promise me that I will only be your master and that you will always do as I say."
"What choice do I have." I sighed.
"Promise me!" The seal on my chest start to hurt.
"I promise! I promise that you're the only one that is to be my master and that I'll follow every command you say." I said up sitting up straight.
"Good." And then Selare smiled. I guess it's good to see that gentle smile every now and then.
"Now tell me more about checking status."
"First I will teach you how to use it. It would be easier to teach you if you see it yourself. I'll do it first."
There was light illuminating from her index finger. She draws a circles in front of her. The light from her finger leaves marks in the air making a floating circle. After making the circle, texts and numbers start appearing from the inside the circle.
"See? Easy."
"Cool! Now teach me."
"Focus your energy on your index finger. You would feel as though your finger is heating up."
Following what she said, flickering light is starting to illuminate on my index finger.
"Once you have maintained that energy, just draw a circle in front of you."
Following what she said,I drew a circle in the air.
"Now wait for it to show your stats."
Texts and numbers are slowly appearing on the circle.
"There it is!" Now let's see what I got.
